Baby stingrays and their little dancing legs! Baby stingrays do not have “legs” per-say. The appendages you see on a baby stingray that appear to be legs are actually modified fins located at their pelvis which is used for reproductive purposes called claspers. They do not lose these claspers as they are utilized in adulthood to mate. (Source)
