The Most Detailed Images of the Moon ever (2023)
Photographer Darya Kawa stacked (133,000) frames and 147GB worth of data to achieve this. I've been working on this project since 4 days ago. This image takes up to 22 hours of editing and stacking since the amount of data was so massive.
Kawa took almost a quarter million frames (231,000) and i spend unimaginable amount of work over the course of 3 weeks to process and stack all the data which was equivalent to 313 GB.
want runs deep in you, heavy and thick, and the dam is creaking under its weight.
want is like dust, thousands of years worth of dust on your heavy shoulders and you dare not move. if you stay very still and keep to yourself maybe no one will notice.
want is like grief, love left unclaimed. want is like hunger and you are famished.
wanting is dangerous, so you smother it.
Do you have any tips on how to write a character who’s being manipulated?
Your blog has been very helpful to me! :) thanks a lot
To convincingly write a character who is being manipulated, you must first understand how to write a believable manipulator. Often hidden in plain sight, manipulators pull the strings, guiding the actions of those who are often unaware that they're dancing to someone else's tune.
Let’s look at manipulators as puppet masters, exploring how they function and how their actions echo throughout your story. By understanding the manipulator, you'll better equip yourself to create realistic characters who are unwittingly under their sway.
Play the victim to garner sympathy
Charming and persuasive
Twist and distort the truth to suit their agenda
Play mind games
Are silver-tongued
Passive-aggressive when confronted
Use guilt to control others
Don’t hesitate to lie or deceive
Demonstrate a sense of entitlement.
Project their feelings onto others
Play different roles with different people
Prefer indirect communication to direct confrontation
Gaslight others, making them doubt their own perceptions
Shift the blame onto others
Exploit others' vulnerabilities
Use people’s secrets against them
Make others feel obligated or in debt to them
Use flattery to get their way
Create conflict between other characters
Deliberately create confusion and chaos
Maintain intense eye contact
Use touch to seem friendly and intimate
Facial expressions often don't match their words
Use large, expressive gestures to dramatise
Have a confident and exaggerated posture
Soften expression to look more trustworthy
Smile artificially or excessively
Lean in close, invading personal space
Mirror others’ behaviours to seem more likeable
Mimic emotions they may not feel
Believe they are always right
Feel entitled and superior
Lack empathy
Highly competitive
Often impatient and intolerant
Controlling and like to be in charge
Rarely apologize sincerely
Often play the martyr, acting self-sacrificing
Can be sceptical of others’ intentions
Kindness is often an act
Paradoxically, manipulative characters can have a positive narrative effect on those they manipulate. These characters can act as a catalyst for change, pushing others to unlock hidden potential and indirectly teaching them to be more cautious. In the face of manipulation, characters can mature and grow resilience.
Manipulative characters can also reveal people’s true natures by tricking them into revelations or by fostering unity as others band together against them. Furthermore, their actions can create dramatic plot twists, make people question their own perceptions and realities, and add intrigue.
Manipulators can cause emotional and psychological distress, breed distrust and insecurity, and disrupt relationships and friendships. These characters often lead others to make damaging decisions, creating a toxic environment.
By exploiting and exposing others' vulnerabilities, manipulators make individuals question their self-worth. The extent of their manipulation can even cause physical harm and lead to the downfall of other characters. Their lasting legacy? Emotional scars that define their victims long after the manipulator has exited the narrative.

Wicked Ink - 13 Rise by CinnamonDevil
Ha was looking for some new fanfics to read and just had to reblog this absolutely amazing fanfic series! Definitely worth reading, several times.
Man, I'm on the fence about the series name, but it's what I've got so I'm going with it! 😉
Beetlejuice and Lydia reunite, and the chaos BFFFs are back in business for the strangest and most unusual summer the Deetz or Maitlands have ever had, dead or alive. (Warning: shenanigans ensue, both fluff and angst are a frequent visitors, tragic backstory intrudes, found family is the trope of the day, there are musical numbers and fanart, and humor of multiple varieties is employed. Also, we say Shit a lot.)
So, this universe is continuously growing, and the order of fics will change as new stories are written, but I do have an idea where I'm steering this, I promise! (There will be eldritch monstrosities.)
You are perfectly you. Fantabulous is an example
I hate how I am.
I hate that I don't truly know how to be a friend. I don't know how to reply to anything. I don't know when to be grown up, or when to have fun. I get overwhelmed. I fidget too much. I talk too much or too little. I'm annoying. I don't get it. I don't know. I dont I don't I'm not I hate
Why are friendships so hard
Why are they full of pain and agony
Why can you be having a perfectly normal conversation with someone you've been friends with for so so so long one day
And then the next, they don't even talk to you? And you blame yourself. Because it's always your fault. You're bad at this. You can't make friends. You can't keep friends. They didn't like you. It's your fault
I hate how I am. Why am I so emotional? Why am I so weird? Why do I have to be so antisocial? Why don't I interact with people like a normal person? Why do I get so obsessed with stupid things nobody cares about? Why can I not sleep? Why do the gods hate me in particular so much
I sound selfish
I don't mean to sound selfish
I'm sorry
I'm just tired.
Tired of trying to figure out who I am and why I am.
Tired of trying to please everybody.
Tired of giving the same responses to everything because I don't know how to be a friend or how to respond any other way.
Tired of feeling like a failure.
Tired of trying to be normal.
Tired or never knowing how to act. What to say. Where to go. What to look like.
I'm just tired
Give it to me Miyazaki style señor Gaiman I’m waiting
