guy's lord of the flies isn't some emo "everyone is evil and deep down we all want violence" story it's about human greed !!!!!! and i know this might sound contradictory but it's specifically focused on the greed for power that SOME people crave !!!! the sort of greed that causes WAR because lord of the flies isn't about a bunch of kids becoming feral because "oh humans deep down are cruel and violent" it's about placing CHILDREN who have not yet unlearned childhood greediness on an isolated island after having had war-time ideology (World Wars 2 AND 3) instilled in them for most of their lives !!!!!!! these kids grew up in war times, they were trying to escape a WAR ZONE on the plane !!!!!! this book was written in 1954 only NINE YEARS after World War 2 !!!!!!!!!!!! lord of the flies is a criticism of war and the hunger for power and resources that fuels it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ummm hello lotf fandom i know i don’t talk a lot to u guys but i wanna talk abt smth :)

i really don’t like lord of the flies as a book. it’s not that i don’t like it i’m just not very attached to any of the characters, which means when i make ocs in the universe i am SIGNIFICANTLY more attached

at about the time vance was on the rise along with other ocs, me and some of my friends (all minus luna) made lotf ocs called the dead kids

hi lotf community. puterboy1 has been banned from the community page for his actions and his refusal to put effort into changing. i apologize for it taking this long as i was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he hasn't taken any of the chances ive given him to even acknowledge his actions. if he harasses anyone over this please block him immediately. he doesn't get to be part of the community page i admin until he has proven he's changed, and at this point that isn't possible

PUTERBOY CALLOUT POST.

yknow what i have been sick of this guy for a very long time now so I am calling him out in adjacent with @feathery-bastard 's callout post.

Now, it is not my usual cup of tea to make callout posts since I do not want to associate myself with drama, however there needs to be said something about Puterboy.

For the record, this guy for all I know is a 30 year old man traversing everywhere in social media in his freetime (which is almost 24/7). He may be a very inconspicuous man but please NOTE that he is actually a very concerning individual and I advise people to not only block him, but to also kick him out of any platform he is in. He is not only in Tumblr, but in Facebook, Youtube, Reddit, Twitter, AO3, Discord, Fanficton.net, everything you can probably name under the sun.

Not only is he in the Lord of The Flies fandom, but also in the Percy Jackson fandom, Kingdom Hearts, Empire of The Sun, Thomas the Tank Engine, Winnie the Pooh, and more. Please spread this to these other fandoms.

Please be aware of his actions. Here are the list of everything that we could document about his actions and behavior. He is a creepy individual that is borderline PDF behavior if you know what I mean.
