They missed a golden opportunity in not having Darcy taunt Anne about leaving Marcy behind in Newtopia.

That was when our plan was truly set into motion, when you left Marcy in the perfect state for Andrias to turn her into our pawn. So in a way, you made all of this possible. Thank you, Anne. We couldn't have done it without you."
