(The scene with Aeron hit me, when I reread. We often fault Theon for his homecoming, for failing to get to know the people and find allies first. But one of the first things he does on the Iron Islands is in fact ask for advice and information in full humility, from someone he remembers as potentially helpful. Aeron isn't.)
