Children of the Rashidieh refugee camp in Sour, southern Lebanon broke out in a march in support of Palestine.
"O resistance fighter, do it again! Kidnap a soldier and free the prisoners! All the prisoners!"
"With our blood and with our souls, we will avenge you, O Palestine!
This is Rafah, The "safe" zone, where 1.5 million Palestinian fled to. You have to understand, what bombing Rafah means.
Please don't look away, while everybody is busy watching the super bowl, Israel commits one of its most deadly and openly genocidal attacks on Rafah. Please don't look away.
Here is an important example of what life was like for the children of Gaza before October 7.
In a 2015 BBC interview, Syed shared his experience:
Syed's life was shattered on the day the 12-year-old, his 11-year-old brother Mohamed, and their six cousins went to Gaza's beach to play football.
It was the natural playground for young boys from a family of fishermen which has lived off the sea for generations.
"We didn't know that beach was dangerous," says Syed
His eyes still, round, sad pools, as he remembers 16 July, one of the most harrowing days of the war.
By the end of that day, Mohamed and three of his cousins were dead. An Israeli investigation said its air force mistook the children for Hamas fighters when a pilot fired twice at a "compound" next to the beach.
Syed and the three other boys who survived still show small scars on their legs and disturbing signs of being severely traumatised.
"For the son I lost, my tears will never dry," says his mother. But she fears she lost two sons last summer.
"Those left behind are lost like those who died," she laments, as she looks across their small one-bedroom home at Syed, who stares blankly into the distance.
Syed finds it hard to sleep, and too tough to go to school because it reminds him of his brother. Even the sea, which had been a constant reference point in his life, no longer feels safe. "I never used to get scared, but now I do," he tells me as we ride in a speed boat close to the shore and he fiddles nervously with the cords of his life jacket.

While the world celebrates women's day, let's talk about the tragedies women of Gaza went through:
- We saw pregnant women in Gaza give birth with no anesthesia & no hygiene.
- We saw women in Gaza using tent scraps in place of period products.
- We saw women in Gaza pulled out of the rubble of their homes.
- We saw women in Gaza rushing to the hospitals with the bodies of their children with the hope of saving them.
- We saw women in Gaza suffering miscarriages due to indiscriminate bombardment.
- We saw women in Gaza starving yet feeding their portions of food to their children.
- We saw women in Gaza coming out and communicating the trauma, horror and violence they went through.
- We saw Israeli soldiers celebrating with the lingerie of women of Gaza who were either displaced or killed by them.
"A Palestinian father loses his temper while bidding farewell to his son who was killed in the Israeli bloodbath last night in Nusseirat refugee camp, central Gaza Strip" from Wissam Nassar, 16/Mar/2024:

Israeli occupation forces unleashed a military attack dog on a four-year-old Palestinian boy in the northern occupied West Bank this week.
The incident occurred during an arrest operation in Balata refugee camp near Nablus on February 4. The dog was unleashed into the Hashash family apartment, attacking 4-year-old Ibrahim Hashash after knocking him from his mother’s arms.
The dog tore his clothes and bit him repeatedly, causing profuse bleeding for about three minutes until Israeli forces intervened.
Ibrahim has been taken to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, where he’s expected to receive plastic surgery to repair his injuries.
“Israeli forces routinely show complete disregard, and often contempt, for Palestinian children’s lives and safety. In a hyper-militarized environment where systemic impunity is the norm, kids like Ibrahim will increasingly be targets,” said Ayed Abu Eqtaish, accountability program director at DCIP.
Israeli forces systematically use military dogs to attack Palestinian civilians, including children, during military incursions into Palestinian cities and towns.
I just want to add, what could a child seriously do to the heavily armed soldiers in the West bank?? They're just doing this to fulfill sick and twisted fantasies and horrors.
alongside my respect for the Palestinian American woman, this is one of the single most uncomfortable videos ive ever seen not only because of how immediately those white karens were like "no you cannot talk about your family dying here you have to leave this is not important right now so shut up and leave" but also the cultish chanting by all the white people in the room?!?!!!! im done. i hate this. i hate yall. im so done.
