This is beautiful, and honestly looks a lot more effective than giving people metiphorical space
i am a huge fan of @bamsaraββs IZ work, and was inspired to do a little scene from their fic Spacedust & Nightlights (this bit specifically is from chapter 2). itβs been about four billion years since iβve done a comic of any sort, and iβm a little rusty, but this was fun to make. thank you bam!

Ah! I don't know how I missed this, but here's the first line from 'One Dragon, Half a Dragon'
"It was cold in the vault; that was the first thing he felt upon waking up."
I have a lot of WIPs in the same world and it was kinda hard to pick, but I like this one.
I honestly don't know who else to tag here
Rules: Post the first few lines from one of your WIPs; this could be first sentences of the whole story, a chapter of your choice, or just from the most recent writing session.
Tagged by @joswritingβthank you!
Okay I'm finally going to stop calling it 'Mystery WIP'; here's the first line from my mermaid story Ichorfall, set in the same universe as Echoes of the Etan and The House of Akreios!:
Freedom was a breath away, but I felt that I had been holding mine for aeons.
Tagging @akiwitch, @the-down-upside-finch, @theaistired, @lexiklecksi, @charlies-storybook, @kaylinalexanderbooks, @amaiguri, & @caitlin-devlinβno pressure!
I hope you enjoy recording music, and working on self-improvement because we are getting this to 2k!
ok everyone seems to be doing this and maybe i'm just a loser (yes i am a loser i'm sorry everyone) but if this post gets 1k notes i will:
work out how to record my music and actually properly publish it
stop going on my phone for so long after school
if it gets 2k notes i will:
actually dedicate myself to learning russian
start writing my book properly (as in no more chaotically deleting all my work, i will start being less self-conscious, be less of a perfectionist, and less comparing myself to others)
this is not happening. no way.
