Shadow's Realm AU (Shadowpeach)

I have an Idea for a Lego monkie kid AU.

I warn you that it's going to be religiously inaccurate. Both because I don't know much about China's religions and because the idea wouldn't work if I didn't change some things.

AU concept

In this lmk AU exists a place called the Shadow's Realm , a connected parallel dimension with the mortal realm.

The alternative names for the mortal realm is the Realm of Light or Light's Realm.

(I know Shadow and Light aren't very original but they are needed for the dynamics and mechanics of the Au)

The mortal/light realm symbolizes a pathway for beings to travel and find a way to the heavens while the shadow's realm is the pathway for the underworld. They're both secondary realms of Heaven and Underworld respectively.

Both Realms have beings living in it , in the first years of the creation of these two realms the shadow's realm was supposed to have demons and dark creatures while the mortal realm was supposed to have only humans , animals and celestial creatures but because of a mistake of Buddha some demons went to the mortal realm and reproduced to the point it was too late to return them to the shadow's realm without struggles , so Buddha made sure the remaining demons in the shadow's realm wouldn't be able to cross over to the other realm and cause trouble while the heavens would supervise the demons in the mortal realm.

The Shadow's realm looks like some kind of mirrored copy of the mortal realm but with the shadows covering the dimension and having their own shadow's born flora and fauna.

Macaque and Wukong designs for the Shadow's Realm AU

Today I suddenly had the inspiration for the final designs for Macaque and Wukong of my Shadow's Realm AU and I'm glad because I really like them

For Macaque , other than the fact I like immagining him as a colourful pretty boy , it would make sense for him to have colourful clothes and long bright fur because of his origins as it's explained on the world's Au concept , and I like to think of him as younger and shorter than Wukong in the AU

Younger because , in the AU , Wukong was born first and shorter because Macaque had to steal to eat so he didn't have enough food to grow properly most of the time

For Wukong he may look chill but after Macaque's death he became an alcoholic and couldn't stay a day without drowing his sorrows away when nobody was looking , that's way I imagine him always with a bottle of alcol with him

Another new idea for a Lmk Au (again) but this time I named it Twin shadows AU (if the name is already used I accept suggestions)

Rumble and Savage are usually depicted as Macaque shadow's clones that gained santience or his magically born kids

But what if they were Macaque himself?

After feeling so lonely for a long time Macaque decided to divide himself in two to have company resulting in Rumble and Savage

Rumble and Savage are Mac's soul , personality and body split in two to make their own person

They consider themselves brothers and are inseparable , if they get separated without reason or long period of times there are a few reactions they can have depending on the reason and if they can't go to the other yet

Restlessness / uneasiness

Panic/anxiety/separation anxiety's attack

Rage/bloodlust

Depending on the situation , the amount of time they were apart , the reason of the separation (or lack of , ex: separation by kidnapping) , and if one or both of them are in danger

The brother have different reactions and how they handle them but are both equally as bad

MK basically adopted them , he always felt bad about Macaque loneliness and now he can make up to it by being a supporting dad

Both Rumble and Savage are little shits to Wukong , it's worse when he's forced to babysit them sometimes

Ooh! If your still doing the Feral Monkies AU I have a question:

What if ther ferals though some multi-dimensional magic stuff found an AU where Wukong is kind of a shithead and overworks MK during training, or an AU where MK is constantly exhausted from all of the demons/big bars he faces essentially everyday?

Would they see diffrent versions of MK like their MK or would they treat diffrent MKs diffrent?

Don't worry I'm still doing my Aus but it's a slow work because of life stuff but I absolutely don't mind being asked questions

Alternative universe stuff is a bit complex , in the Ferals Au they get attached with Mk because he basically freed them (and Mk effort for them to like him) and he had something in him that made the Ferals instincts consider him a cub and adopt him

But in an alternative universe the AltMk might not have that something for them to consider him a cub or the altMk might act in a way that triggers them

If they saw the kind of universe you talk about after they already consider their Mk part of their tribe they would kidnap the AltMk to protect him and violently harm the others , but just because AltMk looked like theirs (if it was someone else or AltMk looked or acted really different from their Mk then they wouldn't really care)

If they saw that kind of universe in the first stages of the Ferals and MK relationship then they wouldn't do anything , because at the start yes they consider him a cub but they took care of him from gratefulness from feeing them and monkey 's instincts and still has to reach the stage of consider Mk part of their tribe so Mk was still an outsider in their eyes

The constant battle between "I want to cut all my relationships and isolate forever" and "I wish I could have normal feelings towards people".

I checked my year of birth on the chinese zodiac and I'm of the year of the monkey and my element is wood

Shadow's Realm AU (Shadowpeach)

Wukong concept

After Wukong killed Macaque's vessel (Of which he will not know it to be a vessel until much later in the future) during his journery , he fell into depression and on one night of tentative meditation to avoid nightmares of him killing Macaque he accidentally traveled over to the Shadow's realm with an "astral vessel" (like Astral protection but being able to interact with things) and found Macaque , believing it to be an hallucination Wukong indulged in the fantasy of being with Macaque again. Later on , after more visits to the Shadow's Realm each night and after finding a monkey cub in the Shadow's Realm , he will convince Macaque to adopt the cub and get married still believing it to be one of his fantasies until MK snaps him out of it and makes him realize that everything is real.

His Astral vessel is like a brighter version of himself , basically like a shadow clone but glowing in gold and therefore blending with the other realm's residents perfectly.

So... I had a new idea for an lmk Au (I didn't think of a name) , or more like an idea for a variant of Macaque. Seeing as some of the fandom likes for Macaque to be a celestial primate with/or with six ears and super hearing , and seeing as in the serie we barely know anything to confirm or deny theories , I thought "What if he was just normal/average? Well as normal as a normal demon/spirit monkey can be"

Not a celestial primate

No six ears and super hearing

No being more powerful than anyone except the monkey king

Just a regular Macaque monkey demon/spirit and not someone powerful (not until later , after meeting Wukong , and even then he's not more strong than everyone else , just most average demons)

I know that's it's kinda underwelming with all the other Aus making Macaque someone cool and powerful , and that the closest to something like this are the human Aus but I think it's not to understimate the funny mental image of a completely capable to die Macaque being done with everyone's bullshit and almost dying because of it and only somehow surviving by pure spite and luck

If someone already has this kind of Au then I'm sorry I didn't mean to copy or steal your idea

I don't mind people asking questions about my ideas for Lmk Aus so if you have any go ahead

What I would like Macaque to say to Wukong's face in a fanfic where after Mac gets revived he goes "Fuck him , I'm going to enjoy my second life without ever seeing him"

Wukong:*questioning/yelling about what Macaque is planning and that he doesn't believe he isn't plotting something against him*

Macaque:*tired of Wukong's bullshit* "Listen here you egotistical prick it may shock you but my life doesn't revole around you

You're not worth it , you aren't special , I have other people I hate , do you see me actively trying to kill every person I hate? No? That's because I have better things to do with my life

And honestly I don't want to spend the rest of my life trying to kill you , which is almost impossible , when I could use the time and efforts for something more useful

Do I still hate you? Yes

Do I want you dead? Yes

Will I ever try? No , you're not worth the effort and I honestly don't care about any interaction with you ever because while I hate you I prefer to ignore your existence so I save my sanity against your idiocy
