he loves those date nights where you drive to the outskirts of town, park your car and just stare at the stars all night while sharing a blanket and a drink. you talk about all the different shapes and constellations you see and come up with names for them. he lets you snuggle in his arms when it gets cold and you talk to each other about your lives, your ideas and whatever comes to your mind as you lie under the moonlight and thousands of stars.

really enjoy taking long trips with you. there is no better feeling than opening the windows, enjoying the breeze and contemplating all the beautiful sights you find along the way, hand in hand with your love. sometimes you share new playlists with each other or just enjoy old favorites together; he also likes to gently tap his fingers on your thigh in time to the music. sometimes you talk and reconnect after a while without seeing each other. or sometimes you just drive in comfortable silence, making the most of each other's company.

loves encounters at amusement parks or arcades. he loves to see you smiling and also loves emotion and playful competitiveness. he also finds these types of dates stress-relieving. he likes to challenge you to different games in the arcade and, after spending all the coins, the loser needs to buy food for both of them. or amusement park encounters where you team up to win a prize at each booth and then kiss on top of the Ferris wheel or holding hands and playing with each other as you ride the carousel.

he loves cozy nights where you can spend quality time together. cooking a meal together while talking about anything that comes to mind is a wonderfully intimate feeling for him. a simple but romantic candlelight dinner and afterwards he's more than happy to watch a movie or listen to music, and maybe have a good conversation, but mostly just enjoying each other's presence. he loves how romantic and pure these types of dates are, but he still has that comfortable feeling of being "at home" with the person he loves most in the world.

he loves the simplicity of cafe dates. he loves the cozy corner of the cafe that ends up becoming 'your place' where you make so many memories together; the little place where you share so many laughs, stories and loving looks. some days, you work or study together in this place. and some days, you just talk all night, losing track of time; you don't even notice how dark the sky has gotten outside until the waiter says it's closing soon. only then do you realize that is emptier now and how people are leaving one by one.

You really didn’t think you could love Shinichiro more than you already did.

None of you both had ever been big fans of love. Not even in an edgy love-isn’t-real way, but love simply didn’t matter that much, nor it was something you both went out looking for in life.

Even after a year and a half of being together, you still couldn’t tell much difference from when you were “just friends”, apart from the kissing.

But whenever you got to catch a glimpse of Shinichiro around his younger brother and his friends, something in you could feel it.

“Oi, Mikey, who even let y’all in here, huh? Shouldn’t you be at school?”, Shin’s voice echoed in the garage, and you giggled, sat on the motorbike he was cleaning.

He wiped his hands with a towel, the cloth now dirty with oil, and he rubbed his forehead with the back of his wrist, eyes fixed on his brother and two of his friends. They looked at you, sweet smiles on their faces, but eyes colored with mischief.

You shrugged when your boyfriend turned to look at you, a playful grin plastered on his features.

“Don’t look at me like that, it wasn’t me!”, you defended yourself, but shoot the kids a wink.

A yelp left your throat when you felt Shin’s hands wrap around your wrists, pulling you to his dirty body, wrapping his arms around your waist and he laughed.

“Leave her alone, pervert”, his younger brother spoke, holding back his laughter as your boyfriend let go of you to give him an offended look.

“Yeah, she’s waaayyy too pretty for you, Shinichiro”, Keisuke said, and you laughed, but were fast to take the dirty cloth from Shin’s hand before he threw it to the kid.

“Baji’s right, we hope you know you could do better, Y/n”, it was a surprise to see Draken join, but it didn’t disappoint, and you laughed again at Shin’s shocked expression.

He walked over to the three kids, messing Mikey and Baji’s hair with his hands, and lightly tapping Draken’s forehead as he clicked his tongue.

The boys laughed as he explained to them how, ‘as literal babies with zero girlfriends in total, they were in no place to comment on his relationship, but he would gladly give them advice if they ever needed it’

The kids rolled their eyes, hiding their blushed cheeks when the older boy pointed out how they were only being little bitches to him because they were jealous because of how beautiful you were, and how they all liked you so much, before giving you a fast goodbye and running out of the garage.

“Those kids, I swear…”, he started speaking as he turned back to you, rolling his eyes with a grin in his lips. He always had that look on his eyes when they were around, like he wanted to make them laugh, to take care of them, “So young and so fucking annoy— mhpm!”.

You cut him off with a kiss, to which he answered by wrapping his arms around your waist, holding you close.

“What was that for, doll..? You’ve got your pretty face all dirty with oil now, dumm—”.

“You’ll be a great dad one day, Shin”, you said, and he closed his mouth, looking at you with gentle eyes and a playful grin, “We’ll be the best parents to ever walk Earth, right?”.

“I promise you we will”.

Accepts (he's very calm, rational, and understands)

Albedo: he understands why, and he's fine with it. especially if your relationship is something no one knows about, it'll be easier calling him your lab partner and friend. you both probably don't often go on missions together due to the busy schedules you both have, BUT when you're together, you probably often don't refer to each other in a very lovey-dovey way. at least in public; you two are very discreet! so, calling albedo something other than the endearing pet names you have reserved for behind closed doors is wayyy easier than you originally thought. and he's a very understanding boyfriend, so he definitely wouldn't throw a fit about this at all!

Chongyun: popsicle boy more than understands. he almost accepts a little too easily... he's not hurt by this, because your reasoning is rational and makes sense. he just wants you safe, so if he has to be your friend on a mission that's fine. everything is alright with him unless you start claiming you don't know who he is. then, and only then, is he bothered. if you bring this up in conversation, he may try to offer other ways to approach this, because he's like 0.001 bothered, but other than that everything is fine! just don't go around saying you don't know him because that's a huge shot in the chest that soft boy over here is not prepared for.

Diluc: this man understands completely! when you approached him about a mission jean was planning to send you on, he was a little worried, especially after he learned how far you'd be traveling... but when you asked him to accompany you on the long journey, he was relieved. the only minor issue is that he couldn't go as your boyfriend, due to issues of either one of you being targeted. he would go as your friend, the very well-known wine tycoon. he's not as bothered as many may think. why would he be? this is just a simple mission! no one would hit on you while he's at your side, he didn't need to be known far and wide as your boyfriend for men and women to stay away. he knows you can 100% handle yourself, so momentarily being referred to as your friend is alright.

Kaeya: telling kaeya you were going to stop calling him your boyfriend and all the nicknames attached in public was a blow to his heart, but guess what, if you have a reasonable enough explanation he totally understands. you tell him it has to do with a certain someone from your past intruding once again, and they're very dangerous, so he gets it and doesn't prod any fruther. he'll agree and not make a big fuss about it, only after he's done making a complete fuss about it. despite agreeing to accept, he teasingly asks you why you haven't been calling him this or that in public, and it takes a slap to the back of his head for him to 'remember' why you're only calling him captain or friend. this man is as smooth as butter so he'd never let it slip you're dating in a million years! but, that doesn't mean he doesn't pretend to let the secret slip, just to see your reaction. he walks the fine line of accepting but almost spilling the beans because he likes to tease you. don't worry though, after he's had his fun with you, just know he'll actually stop and leave it alone. but behind closed doors, the teasing doesn't necessarily stop ;)

Kazuha: he is definitely someone who agrees to this immediately, a little fast you joked. but he understands. you're from inazuma as well so you more than understand why your relationship needs to be kept on the down-low. especially since someone very close to you and kazuha perished, leaving you both as targets. even before your friends' murder, your relationship was a secret. so now that you're both outside of inazuma, you're definitely a little scared to share your true relationship with kazuha to outsiders. due to kazuha's involvement with the crux and finding people he trusts, he's much more comfortable sharing your relationship with the pirates. you, on the other hand, having spent much of your time in mondstadt after your friends' death, are a bit more... worried. if you admitted your involvement with kazuha, what would happen to him? would he be slain down? at least for a little while longer, you want to remain as friends on the outside, to the people who know you in mondstadt and the crux members who don’t know of your relationship. and kazuha's not against it either, as long as you come to terms that everything is alright on your own, he's more than fine keeping everything a secret!

Zhongli: telling him you would like to call him less friendly and endearing nicknames while in public, wasn't as much as a blow to his heart as you thought it would be. because he understands, and he's probably done it more than a few times as well, to keep you protected of course; he wouldn't just tell anyone you're his significant other, and vice versa. but this week you were meeting with some pretty dangerous people, alongside ningguang and yanfei to discuss legal action when it comes to a few individuals accused of money laundering; obtaining mora through illegal actions. during this time, zhongli offered to help in any way he could, and removing romantic gestures was rather easy. no one asked about your relationship because of how inconspicuous you two were being. but don't get me wrong, when this all blows away, he's less than a liyuen nobleman to you, assisting this case.

Accepts (he may accept, but that doesn't mean he isn't bothered)

Aether: poor boy! he's so hurt. what do you mean you don't want to call him your boyfriend??? sure, being called just a friend is fine because he is that too, but he's also your boyfriend so :( but after some thorough explaining done by beidou, he starts to understand why you both can't waltz into inazuma, while you complete your own individual task, and openly share your relationship status. he's THE knight, the one many know of now and are possibly after. it's safer for you to play under the guise of friends, more preferably traveling companions while in inazuma, especially since he's heard baal is a very very tough cookie. if she's anything like kazuha has shared with him, it's best you don't refer to aether as your boyfriend, especially if you cross her. she'd easily been the root of all of kazuha's pain, loss, and suffering. he didn't want that for either of you... so, for now, you're strictly traveling as companions or friends.

Razor: he can come to terms with this because he'll follow just about any order you give him. he trusts you wholeheartedly, and it's your word above all! but, in the back of his mind, there are times he wonders why? why does he have to be your friend again? it just doesn't make sense! lisa has to explain a few times, and each time he comes to terms with it again, but there are still those moments when he questions it. do you not want to be his significant other? would you rather be with someone else? but don't worry! he'll get over those fears as long as you reassure him that this is just a front while on this mission. reassure him that although to the public your title is friends, you're much more than that. and after, he'll totally be at ease.

Xiao: when your life was being threatened due to your title of an adepti, he knew it was important for you to go into hiding, effectively immediately. and for your safety, he accepts this instantly, without questions asked. but when zhongli tells him it's better for you two to not see or speak to one another, he is a little bothered. especially when you told him he might as well forget you were together, at least for the time being; it was a little harsh but you wanted to get your point across!! like razor, there's this insecure feeling bubbling within him. he wonders if he's strong enough, worthy enough, to be your lover. it doesn't matter how many times you reassure him that once this all blows over, you two can be together again and express your love to one another publicly or not. until then, he'd wait. waiting was going to be the easy part, he's waited for you to finally be his for thousands of years; what's another thousand, is his thought process. but when some of the younger liyuen's, such as xingqiu and hutao come to him and wonder where his graceful lover is, he can't help but feel momentarily defeated as he tells them you two were never together, just fellow adepti, co-workers, if you will. overtime, he'll come to terms with it, but for now, it does bother him a bit more than he'd admit.

Accepts (he accidentally/not so accidentally lets it slip)

Childe: you're not affiliated with the fatui, so any other group is practically a rival to them. you can't tell your affiliated group who he is to you and vice versa. but he so badly wants to share the secret... childe, like kaeya, walks the thin line of keeping the secret but wanting to prioritize his teasing and corny jokes instead. he'd much rather joke and tease about the nature of your true relationship than ever keep it a secret, and that's pretty much known. only very few of the fatui know of his secret, one being scaramouche after prying the information out of childe one day, and the other being signora who accidentally listened in on your conversation one day… despite how often he fought with scaramouche, and la signora's annoyance to be affiliated with the both of them, they still were his closest friends! so of course, he'd feel comfortable enough around them to joke, and in the process, let it slip that he was dating you. ahhh, it takes so much bribing of scaramouche to not snitch and rat him out to the tsaritsa, and a lot of pleading with la signora to leave you alone; she was more concerned with meeting you, to see if you were truly worthy of dating childe, and far too busy judging you. how they found out? well, he'd accidentally let the joke carry on for too long and shared a bit too much information. unlike kaeya, childe is less than smooth and doesn't know how to keep this specific secret for the LIFE of him, so it's very hard, and practically eating him alive. he's a good keeper of secrets, only in the beginning though. give or take a few months the secret will be out to the entirety of the fatui.

Bennett: ahh, benny... he's so clumsy, he's BOUND to let it accidentally slip during a mission. he understands you want to only call him your friend for the sake of the mission, and that doesn't mean he's not bothered by it, but it works! momentarily... when you're both fighting a large group of treasure hoarders, one of them taunts what his purpose is if he's so clumsy and can't even do one thing right, and benny takes that PERSONALLY. he KNOWS he's not supposed to let it slip, but at this moment, he can't help but scream, "I'm their boyfriend, that's who! and i'm a pretty awesome one if i do say so myself." and suddenly, everything between hammers to swords drops and the world falls silent for a minute. you immediately scold bennett when you return home, claiming although his gesture was... sweet. it was definitely dangerous to reveal. jean had strictly said personal relationships should be kept on the down-low, no matter strength or rank of those involved. and he feels so bad because once again he goofed up. he's so upset about it and doesn't let it go the whole journey home. just reassure him that it wasn't the biggest deal in your opinion, because in the end, you both kicked ass together.

Xingqiu: this boy strikes me as someone who is a blabbermouth, and i know for sure he'd either accidentally or not so accidentally let it slip that you're really together when you're not supposed to be. your parents would NEVER accept your relationship. one, because you're their child duh, they're your stereotypical overprotective parents, and two, xingqiu is well... xingqiu. in their book (heh), he'd never be a good match for you, especially if you come from a stoic lineage. he's too much of a goofball for them to handle or be taken seriously. but when they were finally free and caught you and xingqiu together one evening running around liyue harbor, they were more than shocked to see their child with a boy?! your more overprotective parent was seething with anger, you had never seen them so bothered until now. but don't worry (or so you thought), xingqiu always managed to talk himself out of sticky situations, and this time had to be no different! you've told your boyfriend a thousand and one times, that if he ever by chance ran into your parents, never EVER tell them you're dating. he was simply a friend in your little group of friends. WRONG. because it seems like the script you spent hours teaching him had been washed down the drain. he's too carefree, and he forgot completely who he was supposed to say he was smh. instead of introducing himself as your friend, he told your seething parents exactly who he was.

Scaramouche: unless the mission is incredibly important and life-threatening on both ends, then you should have nor want no reason to call him a friend or just a co-worker. after all these years, after finally coming to terms and accepting how he feels about you, YOU'RE the one who wants to backtrack and turn the clocks? why? are you insane? let's just say scaramouche's pride is shattered. how DARE you tell him you decided your official title would be friends until everything with the traveler blew over. how dare you!!! he feels anger, humiliation, and rejection, and guess what? he loathes it all. he doesn't really care if you're both in danger, because he knows he's more than capable of keeping you both safe, and vice versa. he's with you for a reason. he loves you of course, but he also knows you can handle your own. he will flat out tell someone who he is to you, meanwhile mosey around what you are to him because he's embarrassed to admit his feelings bye. his response to you calling him just a friend is, "we're not just friends, you idiot. stop telling people that!" he'll either be really blunt or like i said, mosey around the matter as much as he can. all i'm going to say is, if you don't want to be lashed out at, DO NOT call him a friend or anything in that vein.

Venti: tsk tsk. as much of a strong front he puts up when it comes to this, this bard, in particular, is a clingy little bastard, and he just can't accept this at the end of the day. why? because, well why would he want to have you refer to him as a friend, or even worse, a stranger? i feel like he would despise flat-out rejection, and if you're trying to call him a friend or stranger due to a mission, well then, that's the biggest form of rejection in his book! venti shows how bothered he is by this as he complains and whines, and is nearly bowing at your feet to not go through with this. "please, y/n! don't break my little heart." yes, he's practically begging. never would you have thought an archon to be bowing at your feet... a literal GOD pleading for you not to break his heart. and as much as it breaks your own heart, you have to go through with this! a mission is a mission, and if this can keep venti safe, you're all for it. although, if your life is in danger then, of course, he'll allow it! but he's going to want to mosey around the fact for a while, and ignore that you're actually calling him a friend... but if you're just trying to protect him, he'll laugh it off, and say he can protect himself. he jokes that he'd much rather face death than ever hear you call him a friend or stranger, AHH.

levi’s always been quiet around your friend group. it’s not because he’s shy, or because he doesn’t like any of you (though to the untrained eye it may appear as such) - rather, he doesn’t really have all that much to say. someone so perfectly content with observing the crowd, gathering bits and pieces of information no matter how mundane it appears to be.

he knows more about you all than he’ll let on.

when you first joined the group, his stoic nature was something you figured stemmed from lack of interest or merely dislike. rarely did he engage in conversation or acknowledge your existence with much more than a short ‘hi’.

it really wasn’t until recently that you were proven wrong.

the six of you were all packed together in your friend’s dorm, savoring a night off from school and work and whatever else took up a good portion of free time. conversations were casual, talks of how shitty the week was or a bitch of a professor who apparently can’t grade papers filling the room. you, excited to finally interject about how much you loved your new english literature class, waited patiently for your friends to finish before speaking up.

“you guys, i’ve been-”

you’re cut off by the person diagonally from you loudly complaining about their job.

don’t give up; try again.

“i haven’t told you all about my new class i’m loving-”

“stop talking for a second so i can hear this.”

your friend’s words poke holes in your chest. still, you don’t want to quit now. they’ve had their chance to speak.

“can i just-”

“oh my god, no one cares.”

the comment was of course, a joke. you should know that, right? everyone’s laughing. it has to be. yet despite the teasing nature, as the group moves on to the next topic you can’t help but wish for the couch to swallow you whole. intrusive thoughts begin to plague your mind as the world around you becomes mere background noise.

you make everything about you.

stop overpowering the conversations. clearly no one cares.

don’t take this so seriously. have a sense of humor for once.

the words bite at your heart and you do your best to ignore them, to be a good friend and listen to whatever the hell is going on. just as you’re about to reel yourself back in, you feel something.

a tap on your shoulder.

your head whips to your left, where levi himself is sat on the couch at your side. in all the chaos you honestly forgot he was even here. not that he makes much of an effort to speak in the first place.

a small (dare you say friendly?) smile plays at the corner of his mouth.

“tell me about your class. i want to know more.”

steel eyes don’t stray from yours. it’s a moment of pure shock before you recover enough to talk. he’s never shown interest before - not many people have, if you’re honest with yourself.

a beat, and your chest burns with gratitude.

without further ado you launch into full detail, stopping every so often only for levi to urge you on as he absorbs every word. you can’t help but grin as you speak, answering any and all questions he asks.

you’re surprised at how wrong your judgement of him was - yet you can’t say you’re all that disappointed.

Many know that the Mondstadt Tycoon is not fond of idle chit-chat, Diluc is a man of few words and his partner...someone with even fewer words.

At first, he found it unsettling the fact that every time the two were left alone he was met with pure silence. Then out of midair, you'll pull out a notebook asking how his day went. Though he does not mind the reading part, just the moments when it happened outside and everything was too dark to read. Luckily the Pyro Archon blessed him with the appropriate element for these situations. He's mindful not to burn them because one time he did.

You will never have to worry about forgetting your notebook because Diluc will be the one who will constantly remind you to the point it's almost annoying. But because he knows just how much of a frightful disposition you'll be in when your only ability to speak was taken away and he wouldn't want that. In fact, it also gives him anxiety. It pressures him to suddenly become a mind reader and learn how to handle your whirlwind of emotions which he is very very bad at. Ends up revealing a more awkward side of himself that he cringes every moment he thinks about it.

(You can tell he isn't a very good conversationalist either)

Though this increases his protectiveness by a hundredfold. If you made a new friend, he would be the processor, the one to determine whether they'd be a right fit for you or simply those fiends that take advantage of others (Kaeya has a special class in this case, of course, he is considered omitted. Venti is high on his radar given how much he talks and how easily he can persuade you to do things). Jean once told him that you will never make any friends if he kept this up and when you agreed, he couldn't help sulking (don't blame him. He's trying his best to show 🥺affection🥺). Ensures that either his attendant, maid or Elzer would be the one accompanying you if you were to go to the city without him.

Yet Diluc is supportive in whatever you'll wish to pursue. He doesn't want to be the one holding you back in reaching your potential, instead of staying fearful for the rest of your life, he encourages you in subtle ways. His infinite patience to wait for those words to fall out of your mouth, even if it takes agonizingly long and giving praise despite it was only a few words. He tells you to take it one step at a time, you'll get there eventually and rely on him whenever you want.

For now the both of you just settle with writing letters. Although he has the choice to speak, Diluc grew fond of the traditional way of messaging and seeing the style of the way you write.

Kaeya

Unlike his brother, Kaeya has a way with words. He finds it amusing how you reply using a pen and pencil as well as the slight reactions on your face, you were like a puzzle that he enjoyed figuring out (eventually leading him to dive deeper in a relationship he was too late to get out from lmao classic Kaeya).

The pros of dating him was that 90% you didn't have to mutter anything and he already knows what you're thinking. You would just stare and he could tell that you were hungry. The same expression, it translates to "what did you do today Kaeya?". Not even the slightest change Kaeya can tell apart 'fearful' and 'cheerful'. A blink and a nod is enough for him to digest your...words. People question how was he so skilled with your silent language. That was because his brother was Diluc.

The downside is that it backfires. He can't stop himself from taking the opportunity to squeeze out a flustered expression from you every once in a while. No. That was an understatement. Too much to count. He's evil. Even though Kaeya knows exactly what you're trying to imply, he purposely mistakens it as something else more favourable to him. "Oh? Your eyes have been staring at me this whole time. Is this your invitation to kiss me?" And you'll frantically wave your arms to clearly reject that idea considering you two were in public but he'll simply interpret as a reaction of excitement >:) Then as you quickly search for your notebook you find it held needly between his two fingers, a smirk plastered wide on his face. He was having way too much fun (Diluc questions why you chose someone like him in the first place).

Jokes aside he finds you precious. You would be the type to wear your heart on your sleeve and it digs into his soft spot for he lacked tha aspect you possessed. Kaeya can read the mood pretty damn well, in gatherings he knows how to lead the conversation where you'll be comfortable in joining. Gives you headpats when you manage to say something, complimenting how cute your voice sounded. Will absolutely not let ANYONE get in the way of teasing you (only reserved for him heh) and if they do, they would definitely be met with the haunting gaze of the Cavalry Captain, sending a wave of coldair up their backs. Though the moment you turn around he was his usual happy self again.

Takes you to quieter places when the two of you have the time to go on the date and remembers all your favourite things to talk about, making it easier for you to engage. Kaeya won't force you to do anything you wouldn't like but he will always leave you an open door in which allows you to enter the time that you are ready.

"Sweetheart, why don't you try saying my name. Won't you? For me?"

Still a long way to go it seems.

Albedo

A disorder where you are unable to speak? Yes, very very intruiging. This was probably the main reason what brought you guys together in the first place.

Well its true that Albedo only has good intentions, sometimes his curiosity can get the bettern of him combined with his lack of perceptivity when it comes to social norms. He didn't know that staring at you for long hours (he claims it to be behaviour observation) would cause you to be so petrified. Sucrose told him it was called anxiety. Albedo couldn't quite understand. To make matters worse, he goes up to you and straightforwardly asks "You have an unsual way of reacting to your environment. May I study you?" and the only reply he would get is you running away from him.

It was a good learning experience. Albedo had to navigate through the complexity of the human emotion.

In a sense, BOTH of you were very bad communication. Your end being the one who can't say anything at all and Albedo saying all the wrong things so blatantly. He read in a book that telling jokes can get someone to laugh hence he tried it, several in fact, go through a large list to see which joke would be the best (Venti in the background be writhing in pain). Lisa sees him often in the library as he browsed through the social section, borrowing more books that related to 'Communication for beginners'. She even had some recommendations (mostly for him though).

However it does not remove the fact that Albedo is extremely keen. He has the eye to notice the tiniest of behvioural changes and commits them to memory. Like the way your breath hitches in different patterns depending on the occasion, reflecting your mental state. Or the way your eyes suddenly light up, indicating that you saw something pleasant. What angers you. What scares you. What makes you happy. Albedo made it a habit to write all those things down, hoping one day that he could draw a conclusion and help you get rid of your anxiety once and for all.

When he sees you stuck in a conversation where the other person obviously couldn't tell their boundaries, Albedo wouldn't hesitate to be direct. So direct that it would hurt the other person's feelings and make them feel ashamed of what they had done. He didn't intend it to be this way. That was just his nature. You admired how brave he voiced his thoughts and suddenly felt a rush of pride from the way you looked at him.

Has actually experimented on being mute for just a day, wondering what it felt like to be you. He thinks it can give him some insight on how to handle your emotions. Needless to say, being the genius he was, Albedo flawlessly handled conversations without having to do anything.

Venti

Loudmouth. Can't shut up. Osana Najimi 2.0

Venti is your polar opposite, always spitting out rhymes and ballads as if having empty space of nothing was against the rules. You sometimes found it hard to keep up with all the information you had to digest by the speed of his words. Often te case would be that he would already be on the next subject way before you could finish writing your sentence. (Conversations with Venti would only leave your wrist to have chronic pain so its better to listen instead).

With all said and done, Venti made it his mission to get you laughing. Just a little. It would really brighten his day! (Take notes Albedo). His first experiment would be playing a prank on an unfortunate soul but it would end up getting him a warning from the knights and a harsh lecture from Diluc (threatening that if he ever did that again he would be banned from the tavern for life except that one of them had enough time to outlast the other ehe). The second experiment was pathetic. It was Kaeya's idea. To get him so drunk and see him sing ballads in that state will get you to laugh. You were only worried about his health and brought him safely to your home so that didn't work. The third attempt he finds out that you're ticklish and it escalates from there.

"You have a pretty voice (Y/n), you should use it more!"

In truth, the bard knows how much value one's voice can bring as he himself uses his own to sing. Venti writes songs out of the words you wrote in your notebook and although they made no sense, it was rather sweet how he managed to put them together in a way that expressed your thoughts. Music is an expression of one's own feelings too, hence he taught you how to use the lyre. Occassionaly Venti would also grab a parchement and ink to follow your methods too, only for fun, smiling all the way. And to make things more interesting, he'll turn it into a drawing session where the two of you communicate only through pictures.

When you feel afraid of the world, as if the weight is dawning upon you, Venti knows exactly how to lighten up the mood. Its just part of who he is. Because of that you were eager to return the favor, to find your voice so that one day you can make him laugh too.

HOW THEY WAKE YOU UP.

izuku brushes your hair away from your eyes gently, leaning down to kiss your forehead while mumbling, “good morning.” when you stir awake, he places a tray full of your favorite breakfast food on your lap with a soft smile, making small talk while you eat. “did you sleep well?”

bakugou makes you breakfast and sets the table before he goes back to your bedroom and caresses your cheek, “c'mon, wake up before your food gets cold.” once you're awake, he'd pull you to your feet and lead the way to the kitchen and sit you down, kissing the top of your head in the process.

denki somehow manages to go to sleep at 3-4am and wake up before 6, so he'll be the one to wake you up. sometimes, he'll even tickle you just for the fun of it, but apologizes right away if you're mad at him. frequently, “hey baby.... it's time to rise and shine!” followed by a kiss to your nose is what wakes you up.

sero who's definitely not a morning person, but still manages to wake up before you on days you have to leave early, he'll place kisses all over your face, saying, “babe, you're going to be late,” if you brush him off. he'll hand you a messily wrapped tiffin box, “i made you breakfast and lunch” but won't let you leave before you give him a proper kiss.

shoto — like a typical mother, opens the curtains and lets the sunlight stream into the room. he then goes up to your sleeping figure and urges you to wake up while he brushes your hair away from your face, “hey darling, we have to go soon.” once you wake up, he's leaning in to kiss your forehead, “good morning, my love.”
