a/n: this was two similar requests combined together hehe and i loved writing it sm. it's one of my favorite requests, honestly!! <3

summary: s/o who sings to tell stories/singer! s/o who sings for the boys when they’re stressed/confesses to them with a love song.

characters: albedo, scaramouche, xiao, zhongli.

albedo: albedo enjoys your songs incredibly. he enjoys the love stories the most! but he doesn't mind hearing depressing stories; he just has a clear preference!! albedo appreciates those stories both fact and fiction; the stories that touch close to home are those based on your personal experiences, and he can only stare in awe as you sing of love, your dreams, heartbreak, or sadness. sing him sweet melodies of your relationship and how you're so happy together, and he's so whipped!

scaramouche: he may pretend like he's not interested, but he actually is. proof? well, he asks questions afterward! "why would they do such a thing? how stupid..." even if he does berate the story a bit. his favorite songs are those he can relate to, otherwise, he may be bored. sing him songs of battle, feeling torn between two conflicting ideals, kings and queens; royalty. he'll listen then. scaramouche likes when you praise him in your songs, so please do that.

xiao: he appreciates them so much! naturally, he's drawn to the darker stories. those of a couple who can not be, or someone losing something or someone so close to them they can't function properly, and the tragedies of life and death. he's not sure why he enjoys those stories, probably because he prefers realism, he despises sugarcoating with a passion! the love stories you share are probably your personal experiences with him, and he cannot lie, he does enjoy those quite a bit! <3

zhongli: he's a stickler for songs of the past! old tunes that remind him of the olden days, trying times where he and his people were able to pull through. he finds great pleasure in those kinds of stories told through song! of course, the triumphs should be remembered, and singing those stories of war, forbidden love, etc in the past is right up his alley. he also likes the realisticness of it all! but that doesn't mean he hates the fictional side, no. sing him words of myths, fairytales, he loves it all as long as it's your velvety voice. but, always, swimming in the nostalgia will always be his favorite type of song you sing for him.

"i'm a tad bit stressed, so i'm just going to sing alright? cool."

albedo: he doesn't mind at all! if singing is your way of releasing your worries, fear, and major stress factors in your life, go for it. he has his own form of outlet and ways to release stress, and this is yours! when you start randomly singing your worries and anxieties, you aren't doing it in hopes he'd fix all your problems, but he always offers a word of advice after, comfortably giving you the space to ask for help or not.

scaramouche: not cool. he's far too busy to sit here and listen to you sing about your worries, although he does care. he would snap at you first, but then he'd listen and try his best to ease your worries. when i say "best" i mean it, he does try. but he's not the most comforting guy, hence words that sounded like reassurances in his head turned into an annoyed tone when he actually said it aloud. if you're together, you know by now not to get offended by his harshness, because sometimes he truly does mean well and isn't trying to be rude. <3

xiao: he's heard every cause of stress in the books, so when he hears you ask him if it's okay to basically rant, he just nods and continues listening. xiao's heard all of the despair, sadness, frustrations, and anger known to man trust me. he's helped people too, so what kind of lover would be if he didn't offer his assistance to you? like scaramouche, his words of encouragement or reassurance come out a bit rougher than preferred, but unlike scaramouche, his walls do come down and he lets softer things be said; "i don't know why you've held this in for so long... but i will do everything in my power to assist you with these feelings."

zhongli: all ears! he even offers some helpful advice, always. his main goal is to listen to your songs, access the situation, analyze possible outcomes of solutions, and then help you reach that solution! you never wanted him to go out of his way over things little or big, but he does no matter the issue, small or big <3 he handles what you sing with the utmost care, trust me. and when he listens to your songs, especially those of confessions of stress, he will always look you in your eyes to let you know he's listening intently and will do whatever it takes to help you feel reassurance.

"confession through a song? sure why not!"

albedo: doesn't realize it's a confession... he mistakes your confession for a love story either fact or fiction, but not you admitting your love to him. he's probably caught up in the song if there seem to be overtly affectionate love interests, not realizing it's you who has those feelings for him and are admitting it... at the end of the day, the moral of the story is, you've gotta outright tell him!! say, "albedo, i have a crush on you!" or "did you not catch my song as a confession?" don't be scared, he totally has feelings for you too, he just needs to be told outright. afterward? he's very straightforward with his feelings too and will openly admit his love for you! <3

scaramouche: he may not notice it's a confession at first, but then when he processes what's being said, oh boy! beat red in the ears. he's sooo lucky his hair covers his ears or else, more embarrassment the gods are totally willing to spare! he's going to do one of two things; avoid this as long as he can, and pretend he never heard you express your feelings to him through song OR flat out call you out, using words such as, "idiot" and "stupid" or 'brat" claiming you've gotta be joking. but you're not... if he takes this route, he's definitely not rejecting you, no, he's just flat out making fun and teasing you because he can't possibly admit his true feelings, oh not the scaramouche!!

xiao: xiao isn't dumb, he understands what the "yearning" and "love" you mention are in your song, but he doesn't act on it at first and just continues listening to you sing. it's much easier to ignore the meaning of the words and enjoy the melodic sounds of your voice than confront this and his own feelings. so he does that for as long as he can. until he can't sleep... and he starts thinking of your sweet words while he's supposed to be sleeping. he won't admit he has feelings with words, but one way you can be sure is when he starts allowing you to call him alatus! after you ask zhongli about the meaning, plus why he's suddenly so determined you call him that, zhongli says he's never heard of anyone allowed to call xiao that, not even himself; meaning, the wise man has come to the conclusion xiao returns your feelings. which is true!

zhongli: he knows due to his wisdom and incredible intuition, and he's so flattered! he's always felt the same way, so to have you bravely admit your feelings to him through singing, it's perfect! he never saw you admitting how you felt, ever, mainly because after he told you his story and who exactly he was, he thought you wouldn't try because well... if you ever got together, he would long surpass you. growing attached was definitely not suitable if you wanted to be together for the rest of your life. though, after he confronts you about these feelings and admits he also feels the same way, he promises you he will figure out a way for you two to be together! whether he has to entirely shorten his lifespan and abandoned his status now as an adeptus, or seek help from celestia, or even baal, god of eternity; he will figure it out, he promises you wholeheartedly! <3

bakugou who has a crush on you and cares about you in a subtle yet aggressive way... *deep inhale*

bakugou who quietly - and casually - invites himself into your room, carrying your favourite flavour of cup noodles in one hand, and spicy ramen for himself in another. both hot and steaming with freshly boiled water for the hearty broth

you're so busy with your work that you don't even notice his arrival; so busy that you can't help but jump when he breaks the silence with a gruff, yet gentle, "oi dumbass, have you eaten anything today?"

and when you try to remember - what was the last thing you ate? - he shakes his head and sets the food before you can even come up with an answer

"thought so. here. eat up. i wanna make sure you get something in your damn stomach. i'm not leaving until you do"

you open your mouth to object, but bakugou has always been quicker

"how is that you remember to tell everyone to take care of themselves, but you forget to do just that, huh?" he sits down on your bed and pats the spot beside him, getting comfy like he owns the place. like he owns your room

you glare at him for interrupting, and all bakugou does is glare at you right back. but you know from personal experience, that bakugou is quite possibly the most stubborn, hardheaded blond that you've ever met, and that arguing with him would be pointless

your stomach gurgles the very next moment - almost with comedic timing - and this doesn't go unnoticed by him. those ruby red eyes of katsuki's harden, so you swallow your pride and abandon your work for now. he somehow knew you desperately needed a break anyways

you both sit in relative silence, but the silence is comforting and calm. the kind where you can enjoy each others presence without having the need to say anything

until you accidentally grab the wrong cup and the sudden harshness of excessive spice hits your tongue, annihilating your poor tastebuds

and what does katsuki do when you make a face? god, he laughs. but it isn't anywhere near condescending. it's boisterous and loud and full of emotion. you playfully swat at his bicep and he snickers, finally reaching for the glass of water you keep on your bedside table

he gives you the right noodles, only after he's done teasing you, and it's only then is he satisfied when he knows you have something settling in the pit of your belly

you don't notice it; the way he looks at you when you're not looking - yet - but his body warms up in a way he's never felt before when he's beside you. making sure you're alright. taking care of you

he's content with making his home here, even if he has to keep his true feelings to himself for fear of you pushing him away

because no matter how painfully his heart longs for you - beats for you - bleeds for you - katsuki's okay with this; subtly yet aggressively pining after you from afar

DABI lived a dangerous life. constantly in hiding, shielding himself from the public, while causing death and destruction all the same. he had a purpose in life, one single goal that he wanted to reach and he wasn’t afraid to burn everything in his path. even if it was you. as it turned out, it didn’t matter that you were close, that you thought you meant more to him, that you thought you shared the same values, that you went through so much together. because as soon as he could, as soon as he knew it would benefit him, he threw you under the bus. who were you to get in his way?

HAWKS was always good with words. he had a talent to wrap people around his finger, no matter how careful they were, he knew that sooner or later they would cave. so when he met you the first time, no matter how charming you were after all, he didn’t care much about you. no, you were nothing more than a tool for him to get information, to fulfill his mission - and he certainly didn’t care what he promised you during those late hours as you two laid there together. because to him, you were a mission, nothing more.

SERO was never one to stand out much. sure, he was there, he was a part of the others, yet he never felt like he belonged there, almost like something was missing. and it was like everything changed with you there. people started to care about him more, he talked to them more, they seemed more interested in him; that’s all he ever wanted. sero was so happy to finally get the recognition he knew he deserved, even if it was on your expense. to him, you weren’t more than a simple trophy to keep.

SHINSO was ambitious, no doubt. he was focused on his goals, he worked hard to achieve it. so there was no problem that he convinced you to help him too, right? it didn’t matter, he simply wanted to see the effects of his own manipulation, curious as to what it would do to a person if used multiple times in a short amount of time. he saw no issue how exhausting it must‘ve been, how you must have felt whenever you woke up, dizzy and confused, no clue as to what happened beforehand. and even if he made you do something that made you loose your friends - you had him, right?

SHOTO always believed he had only one purpose in life: become the strongest hero. so naturally, he wanted to do everything in his power to fulfill said aspiration, no matter what. and you were there, a perfect opponent, smart classmate and compassionate hero in training. however, you didn’t know that he didn’t see you as more than just that. he played his own role too well and yet only thought about his own gains. what’s even worse is that he didn’t even see a problem with it.

oh my God, mother in law kuchel is giving me butterflies aaaaghh

even before you and levi got married, kuchel has always been the kindest to you. the day when levi first introduced you to his mom was something you will never forget because kuchel took it upon herself to act as your second mother; fussing over you, putting more food on your plate, and asking you if you feel alright after the long travel to levi's hometown. after a hearty dinner, kuchel was telling you stories of little levi running around their house screaming he's the almighty hero or little levi being the absolute angel almost every day of his life (the pictures in the album proved it). that left levi in a red-faced mess beside you, with you always shushing him if he tried to butt in the conversation or wanted to change the subject. you had to kiss away the pout forming in his face and kuchel would gush over how perfect you two look with each other. internally, levi was glad that his mom liked you, his gaze softening as he watched you ramble stories about levi in university to his mother.

kuchel was the first one to know that you said yes to levi's proposal and she was the one who planned the wedding a few seconds after levi said goodbye to her in the video call. you two have a day all reserved to yourselves, where you go out to eat lunch and shop (she calls it girls' day and levi would occasionally remark how original that name is, dry tone and all). if you and levi have kids, kuchel will volunteer to watch over them if it means giving you and levi a break, just the two of you.

there are times when she comes over to your home with brunch and levi just awkwardly stands in the doorway of the kitchen, cup of tea in hand and appearance haggard after a sleepless night of watching over your toddlers. he gapes at the way she coddles you while you two set the table for brunch. it's like kuchel is treating you more as her child than her own, who was just waved off after attempting to get a small piece of garlic bread on the table. you laugh at your scowling husband, giving him the piece of garlic bread he was eyeing to ease his grumbling. his scowl deepens because his mother didn't scold you for taking away one of the food. with a shrug, he lets you feed him, the aw coming from his mother making the heat travel from his neck to his ears. at least he got his garlic bread.

mother in law kuchel has always viewed you as her daughter, way before you officially became one by marrying her son, and it warms her to know that you're the one levi settled down with.

- XIAO prefers getting intimate with you in private, he doesn't really like show you off to others, but somehow everyone knows you're dating him, maybe it's the visible hickies he left on your neck?

- CHILDE secretly likes it when you take control, grabbing him by his collar and aggressively make out with him. By the time you pull apart, his face was red, almost passing out, not that he's complaining tho.

- KAEYA often finds himself sneaking his arms around your waist, a sly smile plastered on his face, he doesn't care if it’s in public or private, who would care if they saw two couples making out?

- AYATO tilts your chin to his face then kneels down to capture your lips with his, hungrily savoring every single thing you have to offer, one hand holding your head to pull you in closer, pulling apart taking short second breaks, you could feel his hot breath against your skin.

haha I wrote Todoroki x reader fanfiction

Summary: You call Todoroki to ask him out on a date and it completely catches him off guard! He doesn’t know what to think of your feelings but luckily his friends are there to give him some encouragement.

Todoroki fished his phone out from his pocket when he felt it vibrating. He didn’t usually get calls this late unless it was from his father, so he was surprised to see it was you who was calling him. Was something wrong? You had never called him before.

Excusing himself from the table, he stepped a few feet away, ignoring the questions and stares from his friends. Surely you had to be calling for a reason. He hasn’t known you for very long, but you didn’t seem like the type of person to call for no reason.

He pressed the green answer button.

“Hello?”

“Ah Todoroki? It’s y/n. Are you busy right now? I have a question for you”. You sounded fine. Nothing sounded out of the ordinary, although you did sound a bit rushed. Whatever it was must have been important. He wondered if there was something urgent you needed him for, like a patrol call that went wrong.

During your work-study together, you always took things head-on. Any challenge Endeavor threw your way, you embraced, even if you didn’t succeed the first time. It was something he found admirable. So this strange change in behavior worried him.

“No, I’m not busy. Is something wrong?” He asked.

“Oh, no!” You paused for a moment, “well, I was just wondering if you wanted to come…do something with me on one of your days off. That is if you aren’t busy.”

Do something? You must mean for all of you at the Endeavor agency to “do something”. You, him, Bakugo, and Midoriya almost always stayed late after Endeavor had finished with work for the day. Usually, it resulted in a late-night convenience store run or stretching together, but you all had fun. You could be found laughing and talking together while on patrol or doing exercises. It was nice to have another friend.

“I'm not doing anything but I would have to ask Bakugo and Midoriya their schedules. I can give you their numbers if you want or I can ask them for you.” Shoto responded.

“No, that’s it’s okay. I really meant you and me. You know, like a date…let’s go on a date.” You said. There was no hesitation in your voice. It sent a shock to his system. He was under the impression that there would be some shyness, like what he had seen when watching movies with his classmates. Yet, there was no embarrassment at being left to explain your feelings so plainly because he couldn’t figure it out.

Shoto could feel his face heating, the one cheek more so than the other, but each side was warm nonetheless.

oh…Oh!….

By “do something” you had meant do something with him- just him!

“Ummm…I- umm….” Why couldn’t he say anything! All he had to do was give you an answer and yet it felt like he had both too many thoughts in his head and none at all. He took the phone and shifted it to his other ear, trying to buy himself just a few more moments. “I will have to make sure I have nothing else going on.” Shoto wasn’t sure what he was saying. It felt like his mouth was moving all on its own.

Why did he feel like this? Why did he feel so…he couldn’t even put a word to it. Being at such a loss for words, made him nervous.

He looked over his shoulder at his friends. For what reason, he wasn’t sure. It wasn’t like any of them could help. None of them knew what was going on, but maybe it would jog some sort of coherent thought. Or maybe one of them would notice and come help him think of what to say so he wouldn’t have to stand here lost in thought.

Suddenly, Shoto snapped his head forward when he heard you sigh. Even over the phone, he could sense your bittersweet tone. Honestly, he couldn’t tell if you were upset or not.

“I can text you what time I’m free.” He blurted out. The thought of you being disappointed in his previous response stirred something in him. He didn’t even mean to say that.

You hummed in response. “Just let me know I suppose. I’m free all day tomorrow so you can just text or call me when you wake up.”

Shoto nodded, then told you he would make sure to let you know when he realized you couldn’t see him.

“Well, I’ll let you get back to whatever you were doing. Have a Goodnight.”

“Yes. You as well” As he pressed the ‘end call’ button, he felt a rush of emotions hit him.

He had never thought someone could be interested in him, but now he has a date.

Originally, the whole point of coming to U.A, of interning with his own father, was just to become strong enough to be number one. There was no need for friends or love interests. But suddenly that all changed, with just one phone call! It was so overwhelming to the point where it felt like he had visible heat coming off his cheek.

As Shoto went back to his seat, he decided he would need to give the whole situation some serious thought. His internal monologue was interrupted though.

“So who called you? If you don’t mind me asking, that is.” Midoriya asked between bites of food, smiling the whole time.

“It was y/n.”

“Oh? It’s not like her to call. What did she want to talk to you about?” Midoriya finished with his food, putting the utensils across his bowl.

“Probably her shitty anime again. She’s been on about it for weeks” Bakugo scoffed, eyeing his teammates from across the table. “I don’t understand how you two listen to her yammer on about that crap! It’s not even that good” he whips his head around to Kirishima as the boy to his left scolds him for an ‘unmanly’ attitude.

“Lighten up dude, isn’t she your friend? Deku says you guys hang out after your work-study all the time. I’m kinda jealous. I wish I had a hottie at my work-study, all I get is useless Mineta…” Kaminari’s attitude suddenly sours at the thought of working with dumb stupid Mineta. “Seriously, he totally sucks. Anyways, back to the real conversation, we should be having, what’s a girl calling Todoroki for?” Kaminari points his finger at Shoto, grinning from ear to ear.

They all look towards him. He can feel his mind drawing a blank again. This feels so embarrassing but he can’t exactly explain why. Maybe he’s imagining it. Or maybe it’s because he isn’t really sure why you called. It was to ask him on a date, but he doesn’t understand why you would want to go on a date in the first place.

“She asked me on a date.” Shoto tries to respond with an even tone. He doesn’t want to let on just how unsure he really is. Not yet at least.

There’s a heavy silence between the five of them for a few moments.

There’s too many “a date?” “Who wants to go on a shitty date with you” “Dude how?” “What? You mean- how” for him to process how to respond. So he settles for, “She just asked to do something. Why is that so shocking?”

It’s Kaminari that takes the lead in interrogating him. “She just called and asked you?”

Todoroki nodded.

“Just straight up Said “hey Todoroki let’s go on a date.’ On a Friday night. No confession after patrol. No weird love note. Nothing.”

“Yes. That’s basically what happened”

Kaminari sat there for a few moments, staring dumbfounded. “…that’s so hot.”

“Dude! Don’t say stuff like that! It’s weird when we don’t even know her.” Kirishima shoved Kamimari’s shoulder as he spoke. However, they could all see the flush on his cheeks.

A woman who was so willing to put her heart on the line, willing to be blunt yet vulnerable, it was so manly but in a feminine way. It nearly drove Kirishima to tears.

“Oh so I can’t call her hot but Kirishima can say all this weird Shakespeare stuff-“

“Would you two shut up?! You both sound stupid!” Bakugo barked at them. He huffed and pushed his plate away from himself. “It’s not like she confessed her undying love or something. She just asked him out on a date. Y/ns has always been pretty blunt. “

“Kacchan’s right” Midoriya spoke up [shoto can hear a faint ‘don’t fucking call me that’ somewhere in the background]. “She really is blunt. Not in a mean way though!” He was quick to qualify his statement, not wanting to sound offensive or mischaracterize her. “I mean- it’s a nice change of pace sometimes. She’s pretty open when you ask her about how she thinks or feels, so I’m not really surprised. Did you not know how she felt Todoroki?” Midoriya moved in his chair as he spoke, almost fully facing him now. He was just so excited for his friend.

“It’s kinda fitting isn’t it?”

“What do you mean, Midoriya?” Shoto asked curiosity peaked by the dreamy look on his face.

“Well, the both of you are similar in some aspects. It’s funny, isn’t it? You’ve already got similar quirks, so it makes sense you would work well together. But then you’ve got similar personality traits also. You’re both straightforward- Todoroki more than y/n- hardworking, kind, although y/n tends to be more extroverted than you maybe that would only enhance your personalities more-“

“God damn Deku, you wanna be more creepy or what?” Bakugo sneers. “You’re gross when you do that kind of shit.”

Shoto smiled to himself, laughing a little as Midoriya’s face went bright, from his cheeks to the tips of his ears. Bakugo had a way of calling him out. Even if it wasn’t always nice, it was funny to watch sometimes.

“I’m just saying! We should all be happy for our friend! Y/n is a nice girl and they could be a really good couple” Midoriya looked to all of them, silently pleading that they would be supportive and not weird. A few of them slowly nod in agreement.

“Yeah” Kaminari leans in towards the middle of their group, reaching over Kirishima so everyone could hear him despite his hushed tone, “plus she’s hot. I saw that photo spread she did with Miruko over summer break. Damn what a bo-“

He freezes mid-thought as the four of them send him dirty looks.

“You never stop do you?”

“You’re being as bad as Mineta right now”

“Come on Kaminari have some tact”

Shoto sighs. He appreciated his friends trying to help but he still felt strange about the whole situation.

“What should I tell her? I said I would let her know if I was busy.” He interrupts their commotion, asking for their advice on what to do.

“So you didn’t say yes?” Kirishima raises an eyebrow at him. “Do you want to go?”

The question catches Shoto off guard. How was he supposed to know if he wanted to go on a date or not?

“I’m not sure.”

“Well do you like her?” Bakugo interjects.

“Yes.”

“Do you like her enough to go do stupid shit with her? Like see a movie or, I don’t know what’s something gross girls like…go to dinner?”

There is this particular detail that Ayato is also in charge of the Shuumatsuban

He will know everything about this person and makes their life worse than hell

They must be prepared to be on Ayato’s #1 hate list

When he shows you the state of your gifts and tells you what happened, you gladly offer to repair it and ask what happen to the one who broke it

He’s so nice when dealing with them help

So like, if someone breaks it just to get under his skin, he will lecture them in a nice insulting way

Thoma fixes the good luck charm by himself, but he is so honest he tells you about it not long after he repairs it

The culprit will not be scolded by Thoma alone, but also by YOU

No one crosses Thoma without crossing you

It went rather poorly and when albedo saw that the gift broke, he was so sad

He was so happy when you gave it to him

childe doesn't mind bubble baths, it's just that he's busy all the time and not at home because of his job. however, if he hears that you're having a bad day and in need of a self-care bubble bath, he's there at your service right away!

... but it's chaotic, that's for sure

there's no promise that you won't get soap in your eyes, and the water may or may not splash out of the bath tub, but childe's laughter and cheeriness makes up for everything

he tries anything he can to bring a smile to your face: giving himself a beard with soapy bubbles (and pouting when you say he can't grown one of his own), jokingly shaking the water droplets out of his hair everywhere to make you yelp in surprise, and taking some bubbles and putting it on the tip of your nose to call you rudolph. (yk, the red nose reindeer)

he will keep talking if you want something to fill in the silence. his whole goal is to distract you from any negativity and cheer you up in the meantime anyway (he also attempts to make animals shapes out of bubbles to impress you, but ends up failing every time)

if you let him, childe would love to hold your elbows in the palms of his hands to see if you have any scars on your arms. if you don't have any, he ends up just putting bubbles all over your arms and drawing random things out of them. if you do have scars on your arms, however, he kisses them all even if there are bubbles on them and just gives you a sweet goofy smile afterwards :'(

throws bubbles onto the bathroom wall to be a nuisance and to make you lightly scold him; seeing you sad makes him sad too, so just hearing you raise your voice a little bit in a not serious scold makes him happy! (even if that sounds weird in a way)

childe definitely steps out of the bathtub first to hold out your towel and give you big warm hug when you step into his embrace

he also demands offers to dry your hair and/or just yourself in general, and rushes to prepare all your clothes for you if it wasn't prepared already

but he also says that you guys don't have to dry yourselves off and just get a cold the next day... then he'll get to skip work and stay at home with you all day, right?

his joke earns him a playful flick to the forehead (well, if you can reach it)

all in all, the best person to take a bubble bath with after having a stressful day cause you really can't help the smile that makes its way to your face :)

scara doesn't take baths often (usually showers), but if he does take a bath it's probably a result of a stressful day with a need of a relaxful evening.

however... if he hears that you had a bad day? he goes straight home after work to get hot water running in the bath tub. (he tries to tell you to take a bath with him but in the end it just sounds like he's ordering you to hop in and wash up, you still get the message though TT)

he'll glare if he sees water go over the edge of the tub and onto the floor, but he doesn't do anything about it. he just sits in your presence and secretly hopes that will cheer you up (spoiler: it kinda does, soft scaramouche is really sweet)

he doesn't talk much, but the things he says are all related to asking if you're okay with things. for example, things like "is the water warm enough?" or "do you want to sit here instead?" or even "...do you want me to massage your shoulders?"

if you tease him for suddenly being nice, he just closes his mouth and glares at the wall for the rest of the bath time duration (but really, he wants to help you but doesn't really know how)

scaramouche just sits there and lets you do what you please, like decorating him in bubbles or attempting to shape his wet hair. it definitely cheers you up to see him not angry and just calm for once, his eyes closed from relaxing into your touch.

if he's really, really touched starved, he'll just reach over without a word and pull you into a back hug and hide his face in your hair (even if it's wet)

like childe, he steps out of the bath tub before you do. unlike childe, he grabs the towel without hesitation and (a bit roughly) picks you up and wraps you in it. he just claims that it wouldn't be good if you have gotten a cold, so you "better dry up or else"

xiao ×

in all honesty, he doesn't know how to cheer you up. xiao might be an adeptus that has lived around mortals for a long time, but you're the only mortal that makes confusing feelings thrive throughout his body fast and make his heart pound even faster.

he can be clueless, but he's definitely at least smart. he figures something relaxing should be able to bring your mood up, right? (he does doubt himself though)

the moment you return to your shared residence with xiao, you can hear the water running and him calling your name from the bathroom (how ironic since you're the one usually calling his name..)

he doesn't actually sit in the bath with you; instead, he sits outside the tub with your back facing to him from inside it. he also doesn't talk much with the belief that you'll need your own time and silence to heal.

xiao offers to wash your hair and when he does, he takes his time and tends to you with gentle hands. the feeling of his fingers carding through your hair and lightly massaging your scalp unsurprisingly soothes all your nerves, and it's difficult not to just melt into his touch. if the water gets too cold, he quickly drains it and replaces it with warmer water/any water at the temperature you want (but obviously he doesn't do it too much and wastes water)

not only that, he puts his hand against your forehead so none of the soap gets in your eyes while he soaks your hair with water to get out all the bubbles. xiao also silently offers to massage your shoulders by doing it once and looking over your shoulder to check your reaction, and his calloused hands still feel so relaxing rolling out all the tension off your back and neck

kisses the back of your head before getting up to get you a big towel to dry you off :( <3

he one-hundred percent asks if you're feeling better afterwards, even if there is hesitance evident in his voice. xiao hasn't been intimate with anyone else, especially mortals, so he wants to know if he can be a partner of yours that you're comfortable and happy with. he might need that a lot of reassurance from you that he is, but all in all also someone who will drop everything to go over to you and cheer you up :)
