Okay but. What if someone else uses that same tactic in the future to try and get to She-Ra/Adora, but this time Catra is the “heart” that they go for. And Catra laughs, thinking that there’s no way Adora still cares enough about her for it to work, but Adora chooses to surrender rather than risk Catra getting hurt and that’s how Catra realises that she truly does still matter to Adora even after everything that’s happened.

How to get a She-Ra girlfriend:

1. Find a gay in need.

2. Be subtle on your first approach so they don't know what you're planning on saying next.

Hope this helps all the SPOP gays out there! We must be strong! (Especially if you're a nervous gay like I am who has no idea how to flirt with other women 😆)

3. Pray that they respond 🙌 and be prepared to whip out that confidence on your next reply when they do.

4. Be sneaky and suggest that you can be their She-Ra girlfriend, but include a cop out joke incase your really bad flirting fails.

5. You make fun of it together and if you follow steps 1-4 correctly they DM you and you start a great internet friendship!

While I understand the importance of emphasising the point to not jump into relationships for the sake of it and to wait for your time and not rush anything, but (young) wlw should be able to gush excitedly about wanting a girlfriend or wanting to kiss a girl without people aggressively mentioning that.

I am not the kind of person who would date for the sake of it, I am simply excited, the thought of having a loving relationship with a girl is an exciting and happy thought! The idea of getting to kiss a women is phenomenal to me! I have spent years being insecure and hating this part of me but I love and accept it now and I am excited to experience all the things my peers have that I haven’t yet.

It’s okay to be excited about experiences you want to have, it’s okay to have a passion and excitement for life.
