well this would have been useful if I hadn't thrown out my syllabus... but good for next year

not to be that annoying bitch but just like some unsolicited advice for all my high schoolers out there:

no one told me this until literally my last year of high school (im highkey bitter but MOVING ON) BUT you know how ur teachers all give you syllabuses on the first day? and everyone’s like ok this is going straight into the bin whatever?

if you actually look at the grading breakdown and  like reference it throughout the year, you can calculate your final grade for that class. like you can figure out that if you have this test average currently, and this is what you have on all your other work, then this is what you need on the last test to still get an A/B/C. so you never have to be in the dark about whether x assignment will bring your grade up enough or about how well you have to do on the final to still get the grade you want. 

idk i hope this helps someone it’s just been really helpful to me in keeping my grades up this year
