renjun and you sat on a picnic blanket, situated in a quiet grass field, surrounded by tall trees and fresh air.

both of you held canvases, grasping paint brushes making delicate strokes on the rough fabric. as you drew him, he drew you, trying to complete a portrait of eachother.

as he focuses on your features, you admire his attentive eyes. as he pushes up his glasses and scrunches his nose to detail your eyes just right.

“your not even painting” he scoffs, not understanding the sudden distraction.

“only because your so pretty, you distract me. also i cant really paint. i wouldn’t do you justice.” you smile as you watch him blush over the compliment. he would never admit it, but he loves being called pretty.

he moves the canvas off of his lap to the side, placing the paintbrush down. he shuffles to place his head in your lap, your hands moving to the default position in his hair.

his eyes close as you massage his scalp, he looks so precious like this, so calm and at peace.

“your so beautiful y/n” he says, quietly, drifting off.

“you can’t even see me” you tease, smiling as you massage his temples.

he sits up, all of a sudden, you move your hands back to your sides, wondering if you did something wrong.

“i don’t need to have my eyes open to see how gorgeous you are” he claims, face gentle but tone serious. you smile looking down, feeling embarrassed with just his eyes on you.

he moves up to place a hand to your cheek. lifting your head up to meet his soft eyes. gravitating closer to eachother as the air becomes heavy with anticipation.

your lips meet together in a perfect middle, moving together in perfect, soft harmony. as he gently moves his hand to the back of your neck, you move your right hand to pull him closer.

you can’t get enough, intoxicated off of the smell of his cologne and the idea of never letting go.

Mark Lee is always sweet. It’s the kind of sweetness that’s warm and fulfilling, leaving a pleasant feeling in the pit of the stomach, like a steaming up of hot chocolate rather than a strikingly sweet popsicle. His nature isn’t something he particularly prides himself on, as it’s partially unintentional, driven by awkwardness and politeness at times, or by the compulsion to simply make people happy. Jungwoo has told him that he’s allowed to be a little more selfish once in a while, he’s allowed to say no and take breaks sometimes.
