jaemin sighed in bliss as the bitter taste of coffee reached his mouth. on a cold day where he was swamped with classes, an iced black coffee with an excessive amount of espresso was just what he needed. the strong and overly caffeinated drink was the only thing getting him through the long day. while he sat at a table by himself in the coffee shop, watching his fellow university students through the large windows of the café, his day had instantly gotten just a bit better. however, the sound of your voice nearly skyrocketed his mood; as it always did when you were around. 

“hey, jaem,” you softly greeted, sitting across from him at the small table. his eyes sparkled in the winter sunlight, the whiteness of the snow outside lighting up his face in an angelic way. the darkness of the coffee in his hand made him glow even more in contrast to his skin. he smiled, leaning back in his chair as he looked at you.

[ 𝟬𝟴:𝟯𝟵 𝗔𝗠 ] doctor!renjun pushed the cafe doors open, inhaling the strong aroma of coffee and sweet pastries lingering in the air as he went to sit at his usual seat beside the window, with a menu in his hands, even though he knew exactly what he was going to order, and his specs on his nose.

renjun swept his hair out of his eyes before flipping the page of the menu and scanning when the smell of coffee was swapped with a women’s perfume. renjun only caught a whiff of it, but it left him wanting more. it smelt of sweet flowers and a mix of vanilla.

renjun turned his head to see the most beautiful girl standing at the counter with a lovely smile plastered on her pink lips as she awaited her next customer.

renjun let out a breath he hadn’t known he was holding in and found himself thinking back to when his friends teased him about not having a girl a few days ago.

suddenly, haechans teasing voice entered his mind, ‘you won’t be able to talk to her, look at her.’

renjun shook the thoughts away and walked over to the counter, watching the way you turn your head and your hair softly whips back as your eyes meet his.
