Help Bilal's Family Survive!

After Bilal @bilal-salah0 reached his goal on August 1st, he contacted me to let me know that, because the Rafah crossing is still bombed and closed, he can't actually use the funds to evacuate his family right away. The funds have since been redirected toward the skyrocketing cost of living in Gaza.

His family now has to raise another €30,000 as soon as possible to sustain themselves before the Rafah crossing opens, which could be as soon as next week for all we know.

My post celebrating Bilal getting close to his original GFM goal has over 7,000 notes, yet Bilal is only bringing in €20 every hour or so, which is a sharp decline from his previous momentum.

Bilal is still struggling with his own housing insecurity in Germany and the looming threat of deportation. Despite this horror, he's put the work in to vet a handful of fundraisers, promote fundraisers, and call out scams for us. He is simply too busy to campaign for his family on his own.

I encourage everyone to donate to Bilal's family and share his campaign with people you know on other social media platforms. You can repost any of the art people have made for him and share the pictures on his gofundme.

Dear compassionate souls, I come to you with a heavy heart, burdened by our story, our lives shattered by the ongoing onslaught of violence in Gaza. Since the beginning of October we have been suffering from terrible conditions and difficulties. Living in Gaza is terrifying during these times, bombs are constantly falling and our lives are in danger. Our house was completely destroyed and we were forced us to move from khanyounis to el mawwasi with minimal personal belongings. I am Ahmed Al-Agha, 25 years old, a graduate of media and mass communication from Al-Azhar University in Gaza. I was a volunteer in the Public Relations Department at the University of Gaza. Due to the difficulty of jobs in the Gaza Strip, I had to register for a professional diploma in culinary arts, but I did not complete it due to the terrible war. After my father passed away in 2021, life pushed me to grow up early and take responsibility for my family, including my mother (samah), my brother(omar)and my three sisters,abla 20years old,yomna17years old and jody 9years old. I dream of owning a small restaurant in order to support my beautiful family. Allow me to introduce you to my family, the very core of my existence: Samah, my great mother, an Arabic language graduate, a strong, courageous, compassionate, and extremely generous mother. She loves her kitchen utensils more than anything else, and becomes very sad if a plate or cup breaks. Her main goal in life is to gain her mother’s approval and the happiness of her children in all possible ways and to do the impossible for them. Omar is an accounting graduate from Al-Aqsa University in Gaza. He is an ambitious young man with big dreams. He loves going out with his friends and driving cars. He used to work for Atlas , but at the beginning of November the company's headquarters was completely destroyed, and he is now without work. Abla is an intelligent and educated girl,she loved children and reading novels, My mother depends on her to manage the household. She prepares us the best shawarma fattah in the world and many wonderful desserts. She studies English at Al-Aqsa University and dreams of becoming an English teacher, but her dream will not come true because her university was completely destroyed. Youmna is a wonderful girl, a student in the second year of secondary school. She has a leadership personality. She was a camp leader in the Association for Culture and Free Thought. She has a talent for drawing and participates in art exhibitions in her school and in civil society institutions. She loves drinking Nescafe and listening to music when she draws. She has courses in drawing. The characters: Her dream is to create her own art gallery and to study at the College of Fine Arts. Jody, my little sister, is 9 years old. She is smart and beautiful. She worked and dreams of becoming a model in the future and has the talent of acting. She participated in an advertisement for a bridal chalet and was the heroine of the advertisement. I felt very happy to participate in the advertisement. She suffered from severe psychological disorders at the beginning of the war after she saw several children dispersed as a result of the bombing of the house opposite ours. I try to maintain her psychological state by going together to the seashore and meeting her friends in the nearby tents and playing with them so that she is not distracted by the terrible news and scenes shown on the Internet. , the war has shattered our lives, leaving us without a safe haven or a place to call it home. We are human beings, just like you. We eat, drink, watch Tom and Jerry, love to travel, and love life . I am Musab Ahmed. I once had a home, I once had a life… but now, everything I knew is nothing but rubble. My house was completely destroyed by the relentless bombing that took away even our memories.

My body did not escape this war—I was injured in my shoulder, underwent surgery, but I still need another operation to regain my full mobility. Yet, the greatest pain is not mine… it’s the pain of my daughter Lama, whose little hand could not withstand the bombing. She was injured and had to have a metal plate implanted in her hand, and we are still struggling to get her the treatment she needs.

All we ask for is a chance to live… A life that was stolen from us under the bombs and destruction. We need your support to continue our treatment and to try and rebuild what’s left of us.

tbh i don't think people really understand how dire the water situation is in the west bank. the last time i was in palestine, i could only shower once a month. ONCE A MONTH. we simply did not have enough water to sustain my whole family, because israel controls palestinians' water supply and does not give us enough to sustain ourselves in the long run. plus the water isn't very clean so it was very easy to get sick all the time. when we say that "palestinians drink more olive oil than water", it's not genuinely such a silly hyperbole as you might think.

Well, if you care about disabled rights, you should be caring about the rights of the disabled people in Ghazzah right now. Muhammad, only 4 years old, is one of those people.

Muhammad is the son of Noor, and he is one of 2 siblings. He was born with a condition that causes his muscles to be very weak and makes it difficult for him to move.

In order to to treat his condition, Muhammad received regular physical therapy sessions, which really improved his quality of life and health.

However, when the siege on Ghazzah began, Muhammad was no longer able to receive the medical treatment that he desperately needs. He is now displaced with his family, living in unbearable conditions without basic resources, and his health has been rapidly deteriorating

This treatment is essential to Muhammads survival, and without it his life is in grave danger.

After more than a year and 2 months of this war and genocide, and after the circumstances became more difficult and we were unable to provide the simplest needs due to the lack of basic food needs and the high prices, I was forced to run this campaign on the GoFundMe website and I hope to God that it will be a path of goodness, provision and compensation for me and my family 🍉🕊️.

We lost security, which is the most important human right. Read the sentence again, yes, security! Which we were deprived of for a whole year (365 full days!) and the days are still increasing!!

Now I am exhausted from the number of times we have been displaced to different areas of the Strip! And I don't want this to happen to us again, what we have seen and experienced is enough!
