I've been posting these silly things on Pinterest but they don't get much attention so should I start posting them here or nah. Thoughts?
— BOSS!
Don't touch him! He's her boss!
A simple sketch of comic!Nimona and the director in a parallel universe
i haven't finished drawing something cute yet, so check this out
A.K.A. VI AND VANDER
Love him
MY POINT OF “HE THOUGHT HE WAS WITH AMBROSIUS” STILL STANDS, AND IT IS HEAVILY BACKED BY, WHEN WATCHING IT WITH CAPTIONS (BY NETFLIX MIND YOU) HE LITTLERALLY SAYS “oh” BEFORE HE DOES HIS SILLY LITTLE SCOFF AND SMILE… HOLY SHIT IM SO RIGHT :)))
One thing that pisses me off about the criticism towards Ambrosius ( in the movie ) is how people be like, “he never loved Ballister, if he did then he would’ve believed him sooner”
Did you guys not understand the point of the movie? Clearly not, so lemme run it down for you:
A) Ambrosius never hurt Ballister physically, maybe emotionally during their fight at the wall, but they were clearly both in their feelings
B) Ambrosius didn’t even WANT to go on a manhunt for Ballister! Who chimed in first? Todd—fucking Thoddeus Sureblade, the same man who verbally and PHYSICALLY assaults Ballister made it clear that he would make Ballister suffer if he caught him, and guess what? That’s exactly what he did!
C) People giving shit to Ambrosius for “not realizing sooner” on how corrupt the Institute is really shouldn’t talk; this is based on real life and how we live a corrupt government, yet because of all the propaganda we are fed EVEN AS CHILDREN, it takes us awhile to break out of—hell it took me awhile to realize that the two party system is chicken shit and neither party cares about us
D) To add onto point C, Ambrosius was intended to be the model minority THAT WAS STILL REPLACEABLE HAD HE REBELLED—we see this with the Director stabbing Nimona shapeshifted into Ambrosius AND THE LITERAL FUCKING ENDING WHERE THE DIRECTOR POINTS HER STAFF LAZER AT ALL THE KNIGHTS AND AMBROSIUS
E) Lastly, if y’all are gonna ask why Ambrosius didn’t realize the system was corrupt sooner, use the same energy for Ballister deadass. No because you can’t judge one character but then ignore another character who legit goes through the same struggles. They’re both victims of the system that the Institute shaped and that’s why it’s powerful when they take down the walls, the system, and reshape their relationship.
I need people to please be for fucking real right now
I straitened (as much as a picture of Ballister could be ‘straightened’) this photo in case anyone wants it :>
I still think Ballister might not have gone back to Ambrosius and only occasionally let the latter near him out of sheer interest. Nimona always helped him escape in time to leave Amb with nothing.
