FUCK ADULT SWIM!!
For a fucking programming called adult swim it surely couldn't handle a show with arguably some of the most mature themes.
What am i angrily going to rant about? The cancelation of Moral Orel.
why the FUCK was it ever okay and allowed for rape jokes to be made in countless of adult swim shows but the moment the aftermath and overall emotional/physical trauma of rape is showed then "Omg!!! That's too dark!! too bleak!! Cancelled!!"
Adult swim were actual idiots for cancelling its show right when it was at it's peak of trauma exploration and it's healing process.
We could've gotten to see Orel's journey with the generational trauma that is weight on his back and seen how he managed to cut it off!! We could've seen Agnes Sculptham confront her rapist and later on gain a healthy nd loving relationship with a woman !! We could've seen Nurse Bendy handle motherhood!! We could've seen so!! much!! more!!
Now don't get me wrong, it ended so well considering the time crunch they were given and i'm happy we atleast got a good ending, but omfg...
Did you know we were going to get multiple episode's where Orel's grandfather AKA Clay's dad was going to live in with the Puppington family??? meaning the exploration of generational trauma was going to dive even deeper??
This show deserved it's full season 5 run, and it was unjustly deprived of that due to insensitive people who felt the show got "too dark" when in reality, the show was shining in soul.
