Any damian wayne headcanons?

The reason he wears headphones all the time is because he’s hypersensitive to small sounds. It’s part of his assassin training– it helps to anticipate attacks– but he can’t shut it off, so the only way he can relax is to block out sound completely. That also means that if he wears his headphones in front of you, it’s a gesture of trust. He knows that you’re not going to attack him, and he’s safe.

He’s cold all the time. It’s a side effect of returning from the dead, and it’s been happening ever since he lost his powers. It feels like his heartbeat is too weak to warm him up. Same for Jason.

He likes affectionate contact, but the only person he’s comfortable hugging is Bruce, and only when Bruce initiates. He compensates by picking fights with other members of his family– that way it’s physical, but it doesn’t give him away. He doesn’t consciously know he’s doing it. Sometimes he gets upset and thinks, “You know, I kind of feel like punching Drake today,” and rolls with it from there.

He’s the self-appointed keeper of his family’s health. Most of the time, Dick and Bruce are too distracted to notice if somebody else is struggling, so Damian notices for them. He keeps track of everybody, then feeds the information to Alfred, who helps him take care of it. The rest of the family has no idea.

The reason he likes animals so much is because they can’t judge him– if he’s kind to them, they’re kind back. No complications. They don’t know his past.

His entire life is a struggle to live up to the expectations that have been set for him. He acts so arrogant because he knows that he has to be the best, and if he fails, he doesn’t have much to fall back on. He’s just scared that he isn’t good enough.

What happened to the dc x do fanfiction where Danny was cleaning up all the boddies sunk in the bay off Gotham and the bats thought he was some sort of mer crypted? I think it was dead tired. It was a good one, is it still happening?
