To be used with Sun, Moon, and Ascendant placement to understand the basic personality. This was taken from a writing I found on the internet many years ago that has long instinct from its original source. Preserved for your observation.
Aries: Yang Taurus: Yin Gemini: Yang Cancer: Yin Leo: Yang Virgo: Yin Libra: Yang Scorpio: Yin Sagittarius: Yang Capricorn: Yin Aquarius: Yang Pisces: Yin
Sun(Yang) – Moon(Yang) – Ascendant (Yang) This person is very active, has a very dashing personality and a very strong emotional structure. Communication is very good and very active. Very clear expression of the emotions and feelings. Good equilibrium between the inner and outer world.
Sun(Yang) – Moon(Yang) – Ascendant (Yin) The basic personality manifests itself easily in the outer world. Emotions are difficult to express. Often the awareness (will, intellect) imposes over the unawareness (instincts, emotions).
Sun(Yang) – Moon(Yin) – Ascendant (Yang) The interior personality and the emotions cannot be easily expressed. There can be a conflict between the way we think and feel and the way we express ourselves. Possible impossibility of expression and communication.
Sun(Yang) – Moon(Yin) – Ascendant (Yin) Strong and active personality but who cannot always find an outer correspondent. We cannot always express what we want to.
Sun(Yin) – Moon(Yin) – Ascendant (Yin) This person is very receptive to everything that happens. Very good communication between the personality and the emotional structure. They usually act passively to everything that happens and never make the first step.
Sun(Yin) – Moon(Yin) – Ascendant (Yang) Emotions and instincts are very strong and active which comes as a contradiction with the basic energy and the way we want and can express
Sun(Yin) – Moon(Yang) – Ascendant (Yin) Conflict between the inner structure (what we want, our feelings, our emotions) and the way we communicate in the outer world. The outer world has a powerful influence on the personality and the feelings.
Sun(Yin) – Moon(Yang) – Ascendant (Yang) Emotions are strongly and clearly expressed which sometimes drives to an inner conflict with the basic personality and the way the person usually behaves.
Usually, when the Sun polarity differs from the Ascendant polarity, the individual suffers a radical change of personality and expression. Mostly, this change comes around the age of 30. If the Sun is Yin and the Ascendant is Yang the individual will change from a passive, meditative person to a more active one, dashing and determined. If it is the other way around, the Sun is Yang and the Ascendant is Yin, this person will slow down to be more secluded and reflexive.
My Thoughts:
This could be attributed to solar arc progressions, though other theories like Saturn's return and even moving long distances for a career in astrocartography may have a say. If using Vedic astrology, then I recommend observing the D9 Navamsa chart after 30 because it is the chart of the second half of life. Just look at the placements of that chart re-observe the above rules and apply with the new sun. moon and ascendant according to D9.

𝟭. high quality sleep ( 💤 )
never put your sleep on the back burner, 8 hours are not even enough, the younger you are the more you need sleep, especially if you are a woman. adult women generally need to sleep 9/10 hours a night, obviously the amount of sleep needed for rest depends from person to person, but always try to have a good, consistent sleep at night. if you ever think about sacrificing your sleep to study and/or procrastinate, know that you're only hurting yourself in the long run. without adequate rest, you will not be able to function properly and perform at your best the next day.
𝟮. eat nutritious meals ( 🍜 )
when was the last time you ate a nutritious, warm, homemade meal, honey? you should eat at least (AT LEAST) 3 times a day a real, cooked, warm meal that provide you with the proteins, fats and sugars your body needs to function normally. throw away packaged and over-processed snacks, they don't meet your energy needs and are simply full of empty calories that will make you feel sick and don't help your beautiful brain to function. eat lots of protein, which helps you build the muscle mass that keeps you healthy (i'll post about that) and healthy fats which keep your beautiful brain working – the brain is mostly made up of fats so don't be afraid of them! the important thing is to eat healthy fats that are good for our body.
𝟯. less is more ( 🧩 )
do less to achieve more. if you've ever made an absolutely unrealistic to-do list, raise your hand. overwhelmed by a thousand things to do we will never be able to make consistent progress in an area that interests us. it is not possible to do everything all the time and do it well, inevitably our energy runs out, our level of attention drops and we end up doing a little bit of everything badly. not all tasks can have priority, choose what to focus on and stick with it.
𝟰. be gentle with yourself ( 🌾 )
you're really giving it your all, why be so hard on yourself? the things you have done, the goals you have achieved, you should be proud of yourself and smile about it. demanding too much from your body will not lead to anything except burnout, remember that you are a person and not a machine, that you are not made to make every single hour of your day productive, and that it is okay to rest, because only thanks to rest you can face your day with the necessary energy.
If you're a writer take a look at your Mercury placement for inspiration 🖋️
1st House: Baby you're the inspiration! Dig deep into your identity and practice introspection for your work.
2nd House: What do you value? What will you work hard for, protect, collect? Use that for your inspiration! Maybe take inspiration from the material world or nature as well.
3rd House: Pay attention to your community and family (especially siblings, extended family, and family arguments or rivalry) for inspiration. Knowledge and research may be your best friend as a writer. Speak your mind and explore your emotions through writing, journaling, or blogging.
4th House: Family, home, your private life, or maybe your own inner world of coping, emotional sensitivity, and depth are your muse!
5th House: Having fun with your words and stories may be a good starting point! This is the house of creativity, joy, and celebration. Here creativity should stem from passion, discovery, and maybe romance. Be brave and even dramatic or ridiculous in how you write and how you get inspiration.
6th House: The house of routine, health, and work may not sound very inspiring but things like daily writing exercises or challenges may be very helpful for you. Time management and aiming to reach goals with your writing is going to be highly productive. Inspiration for you may come from ideas around altruism and what makes you feel like you're making a difference.
7th House: Take your inspiration from your relationships, fights, competition, rivalry, deals, and romance. Seek inspiration in others. Find a true muse.
8th House: The skeletons in your closet may be the best inspiration. Your fears, secrets, pain, depth, and vulnerability.
9th House: Your beliefs can be a major source for inspiration/creativity. Taking inspiration from other works, research, and knowledge may be your style too. Diving into a subject like history, sociology, psychology, religion, laws, journalism, politics, etc. can be very motivating.
10th House: Rely on your sense of purpose to give you inspiration. Reflecting on society or authority can give insight too.
11th House: Look to your friends for inspiration and friendship dynamics! Zooming out to collective trends and feelings can be a powerful tool as well for your writings. Tap into your aspirations and highest dreams too.
12th House: Using writing as a tool to explore your subconscious may be useful. Taking inspiration from your dreams, imagination, and even the darkest parts of you may be key for you as a writer.
As soon as you choose you, everything else chooses you too.

heyyy how are u ?
so hum…I lost all my motivation. I was really determined to study and not give up, u know?
but now I don't care. My grades aren’t catastrophic but I know I could do better. The problem is that I’m no longer motivated to study. I don't know if u have any advice to get the motivation back or to help me move forward little by little.
thank u 🩶🩶
Hi! Motivation is a tricky thing, but that doesnt mean is hardest thing in the world to get back. Here are some tips to do it:
Set small rewards for yourself after tasks. For example, at the end of an assigment, eat your favourite snack; promise yourself to watch an episode of your fav show after 40minutes of studying, etc. Something short-term, simple and not-study related.
"What will happen if i dont do this?"
Build a rutine. When motivation goes on vacation, discipline will be your saviour
Get an study buddy or someone doing something productive (not nessesaryly the same as you are doing). Seeing another person doing stuff is motivating.
Start with a super simple small task, like making your bed. Get into a "productive streak"
Set an alarm. If you know you'll dismiss it, set two, three, four, ten, a thirty alarms. (Dont do this with waking up though, only for study sessions and stuff, it is proven setting multiple alarms for WAKING UP is harmful)
Romantice it. Study with your favourite drink, go to a cafe or a park, take nice pictures, write pretty notes, anything that makes studying look fun will do.
Turn your phone off. "What does this have to do with motivation?" Turn your phone off for more than an hour. No, you cant watch TV or a movie either, or play games in your computer. Everything off. We, humans, do anything when we are bored just for the sake of doing something.
Progress is progress. Dont beat yourself up if you dont do as much as you wanted to. It'll only desmotivate you.
hope this helps!
