THIS. IVE THOUGHT THIS FOR THE LONGEST TIME. I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT WHEN THERES A FANFIC THAT INVOLVES MAXS PARENTS, AND THEY MAKE IT TO WHERE "max gets BEAT by his parents every day and they use him as an ASHTRAY and they throw alcohol bottles at him whenever he makes the tiniest mistake!!!" LIKE ITS SO BAD I HATE IT. BEING NEGLECTFUL TOWARDS YOUR CHILD IS JUST AS BAD AS PHYSICALLY ABUSING THEM.

Something that rubs me wrong is people making max physically abused rather then neglected like implied, negligent behavior is abuse and it feels like y’all don’t get that🤷🏽
