hi everyone. i thought i would go ahead and write a formal post regarding the current status of suh sire. as some of you may know, fork had an accident a few months back. it left her with a shattered broken foot and the inevitable surgeries and physical therapy have left her in immense medical debt. in order to keep her family and herself afloat, she had to take emergency commissions during the time she was unable to work or walk. as of now, she’s working two jobs. 

the reality of the situation is that fork does suh sire on her own and in her free time. there are character creators, yes, and there are people that help her with social media or subplots/worldbuilding, but she handles all of the actual writing and art on her own. she’s the one who will be making the animatics and comics for the main storyline. it’s all on her to deliver the final product you all see.

the start of chapter one was originally planned for january, and i understand if some of you feel impatient or even disappointed. but… life happens. you don’t get a lot of free time when you’re struggling to pay the bills or buy groceries.

sending disrespectful and malicious messages to someone, especially someone recovering from a traumatic and painful experience, is not how you encourage content creators. it’s not how you should treat other people in general. this story and these characters aren’t for bullies. you’re wholly encouraged to unfollow. 

so, as an official statement, suh sire is on an indefinite hiatus until fork is physically, mentally, and financially able to continue it. there’ll still be original and fan content reblogged here, and we appreciate everyone who has supported the project over the past year. your kindness and excitement means a lot.

Saddest thing ever is reading an academic paper about a threatened or declining species where you can tell the author is really trying to come up with ways the animal could hypothetically be useful to humans in a desperate attempt to get someone to care. Nobody gives a shit about the animals that “don’t affect” us and it seriously breaks my heart
