There are two basic arguments for shutting the fuck up about cishets at Pride.

First: What if a trans kid asks their parents to show their support by attending Pride with them? What if a lesbian can only attend pride if she gets a ride from someone and the only person willing and able to drive her is her straight brother? What if a bi disabled person can't attend a large outdoor event without hands-on assistance from their straight partner? What if someone just wants to bring their fucking friends? What if, contrary to popular tumblr discourse, most queers don't inhabit perfectly pure social bubbles populated only by other queers?

Second and perhaps more important: If you think you can tell that someone is CIS, let alone HET, by LOOKING at them, you are a cop and an idiot.

Hey FYI to anyone looking for a great Cartoon that genuinely felt at the same level as greats like Gravity Falls and Avatar. I just finished 'The Hollow' on Netflix and it is so worth your time to watch.

One day Joyce and Ted met each other at Joyce's work so Joyce to bring up conversation said "Who knew one of my kids would date one of your kids" (talking about Jonathan and Nancy).

Ted thinking she meant Will and Mike (who aren't even dating) replied "I totally saw it coming, since they were in kindergarten or so."

And Joyce would be like 'You did?' not being able to believe it because she didn't notice anything back then.

Minutes later they say goodbye really confused because they were talking about different people the whole time without knowing it.

No because this is genuinely terrible :(( it's sad people dont defend poc just because their bylers?? even if they werent bylers they dont deserve to get d0xx3d!!

Mike Wheeler loves and supports Will no matter what. Even when he's having his own identity crisis.

Before Finn's panel, I wanna remind people not to bombard that poor dude with questions about Mileven and Byler or questions you know he can't answer. Don't ask who will be endgame. Don't ask if he ships Mileven or Byler. Don't ask him if Mike and El breakup. Don't ask him to shut down Byler and their shippers. Don't ask dumb questions like that. He can't answer them truthfully or even give an answer at all. So please don't put him through the pain and anxiety of having to try and beat around the bush. He's already talked about how bad his anxiety gets with interviews and panels and stuff. Don't make it more difficult for him. Please. Just be a decent person.

Ask him about more than just his character's love interests please. That is all the interviewers ask him about during press for the show and it seems to annoy him. Please don't do that at his panels as well. And ask him questions he can actually answer. Like ask him about the movie he is directing. Ask him about the new Pinocchio movie he was a voice actor for. Ask him about his music. Ask him silly little questions like "if you could pick one actor/actress to work with, who would it be." Idc what you people ask him just as long as you don't harass him about ships. There is more going on with him than just playing Noah and Millie's love interests on the show. PLEASE. I AM LITERALLY ON MY HANDS AND KNEES BEGGING YOU PEOPLE.

I also think that Noah is so happy about byler because they told him to tweet that so he basically knows it's happening lmao

Mike calling the Byers house, and no one picking up cuz of Joyce's job, ate our boy up inside and out.

This the same kid that biked to Will's cuz he wasn't in class and biked to the woods cuz Will was missing. Every time he couldn't reach Will he physically went to him.

Now he's calling daily with no chance of getting through EXCEPT this time he can't just bike to Will. California and Indiana are far, in 2 different timezones even, and what used to be an easy fix isn't anymore. He has to wait to catch a flight and is probably wondering why Will never calls him. The Wheeler's number hasn't changed!

And then Will claims he's not interested in hearing what he has to say. Cue Mike's internal screaming cuz Will chose to be petty and make him the bad guy. But Mike let's it go cuz Will still wants to be best friends so he sucks it up and tells Will Hawkins isn't the same without him. Ugh these idiots.

will, freaking out but also just so, so tired of lying and dancing around it, partially panicking partially defeated: “I didn’t say that.”

Mike, in the Will Voice, with soft heart eyes: “you didn’t have to.”

because Will didn’t have to say “I love you,” to make Mike feel loved. His painting and his speech did that on their own, Will doesn’t have to say it because he’s constantly doing things to show it.

bonus points if after this, Will is wiping tears from his eyes and is both in love and in disbelief, going “this is crazy-“ and Mike interrupts his inevitable anxiety tangent by taking Will’s hands in his and looking at him lovingly and using the Will Voice again going “crazy together, right?”
