The First Hiatus: “It Begins” It lasted for 41 days spanning from December 3rd, 2013 to January 13th, 2014.
The Second Hiatus: “Buttermeat” It lasted for 21 days spanning from January 28th, 2014 to February 17th, 2014 and is the second shortest Hiatus so far.
The Third Hiatus: “Revolutionary Gem Pearl" It lasted for 23 days spanning from March 16th, 2014 to April 9th, 2014.
The Fourth Hiatus: “Nickilite” It lasted for 98 days spanning from May 15th, 2014 to August 21st, 2014 and is the second longest Hiatus so far.
The Fifth Hiatus: “A Christmas Hiatus” It lasted for 34 days spanning from December 5th, 2014 to January 8th, 2015.

The road was long and painful, but we somehow made it through the dark times.
Everyone here has earned this commemorative Pearl Point for surviving the longest hiatus in SU history!
I learned in a Latin Studies class (with a chill white dude professor) that when the Europeans first saw Aztec cities they were stunned by the grid. The Aztecs had city planning and that there was no rational lay out to European cities at the time. No organization.
Collected from the Egyptian desert in March of 1846, the Helix desertorum specimen was sent to the British Museum, where scientists thought it had expired in transit. It was glued to a cardboard display card shortly after.
One day four years later, curators noticed something strange about their catatonic mollusk: the shell seemed to have moved from its glued position and a trail of discoloration followed it.
Archivists removed it from the card to give it a bath, with a suspicion the snail might have in fact been slumbering.
After just a few minutes of exposure to moisture, the snail’s head poked from its shell and surveyed its new home with four eye stalks.
As the snail adjusted to active life again, it became a minor celebrity and sat for a portrait by the museum’s zoological artist for inclusion in a book on mollusks, seen below:

Hi, I'm 25 and debating starting male-to-female HRT. However, I'm scared that HRT won't help me at all. It seems like HRT does so little after puberty, especially by the time one gets in their 20s. I'm really scared that I'll just end up being someone in a male body, but with breasts. Is there anything you can say to someone having this fear? Thank you, and sorry, I suspect this is a silly question.
Actually, the claim that HRT doesn’t do much after puberty is a myth. I started when I was 31 years old and now I’m 35. =)
