one of my favorite stupid things to do in fanfic is to throw two characters together who literally never interact. and then give them an entire, fleshed-out relationship dynamic that exists nowhere but my own head. yes they’ve literally never spoken. yes their relationship is important to me. hope this helps.
An excellent way to help others and progress research at the same time!
Yeah? Then have I got a list for you!
NASA’s Citizen Science section – NASA maintains a page here with links to all their citizen science projects and initiatives—and they have a LOT. All projects are helpfully color-coded by category/domain.
Zooniverse – Very good website, LOTS of projects. “The world’s largest and most popular platform for people-powered research”.
SciStarter – Another good hub for finding projects. SO, SO many projects available!
A list of citizen science projects that have you playing games
Wikipedia
National Geographic – Nat Geo always maintains a list here of a lot of good ones.
This list on Gizmodo that I LOVE, 10/10
Society for Science – Not only do they have a lot of great citizen science projects linked, they also have sections to help you start your own citizen science projects too.
Smithsonian Institution – Come on, who DOESN’T want to help out the SMITHSONIAN?
iNaturalist – Take pictures of plants, fungi, animals, insects, etc. around you and contribute to scientific data repositories for researchers!
budburst – Help scientists find and monitor plants in your area and improve their research on plant conservation!
eBird – If you love birding or just want to contribute to research on bird populations and migrations, this is the project for you!
Spotteron – There are a LOT of apps for a variety of ongoing projects here, both at global and regional levels.
Globe Observer – Help NASA by providing data from down here on Earth!
Insight – Give scientists data they can use to help understand and save pollinators by snapping pics and tracking ones near you in observations!
River Survey/Ocean Survey apps – The Ocean Cleanup has put out two different apps for helping track the pollution in our water! River Survey asks citizens to help by going to a nearby river and starting to count the plastic they see. Ocean Survey asks anyone who goes out on the ocean to record any plastic debris they spot floating on the ocean.
Have fun, be safe, and happy researching!
Yep. Playing Idea Tennis with them is fun and I am grateful that they’re here in my life.

just adding that she has very similar, if not the same energy color as the Sphinx of Truth:
Will this mean anything? Probably not, but if Zack’s going the kinda-sleazy-conman-with-a-heart route (or perhaps just the tried and true lovable asshole route), then the interactions between Truth’s power and how Scabs could theoretically sidestep those truth powers activating on her while allowing them to be used on others to the fullest extent...that’d be a rather interesting interaction!
Scabs in this update here to uplifit my spirits, water my crops, and ruin my years-old headcanons about how she might act. Dropkicking my soul into writing that story I’ve had for a while about her. Digging the color of her spectral energy, and I wonder about her backstory.
Right now she’s kinda giving off Kuzco energy (maybe start-to-mid-movie Kuczo?). We’ll see how this progresses.
this looks incredible. Look at this remarkable gator, just chillin'.

yeah, Silver would never get a Totodile in my games. The little starter's just too perfect for me to pass up.
This is fun!
Who wants a Paranatural Tool random generator?
(I’m posting the link to it in the reblog to this because I think Tumblr is being weird about links rn)
Some of these are inviting, in their own odd way. Some of these faces seem as if the person is turning to you with the words "can you believe what's going on here?" about to leave their lips. The gentleman staring gives off a "sitting on the subway train longingly gazing out the window, thinking of love" vibe.
I fucking hate James Tissot’s paintings because in ALL OF THEM there is ALWAYS someone staring right at you, but it’s not always immediately visible. You just feel watched by this mf. Sometimes the little shit is right there at the centre, but others the bastard is just gazing from the distance, it is CREEPY, my guys
these all look phenominal!
Results from the #paleostream! Turnersuchus, Batrachognathus, Platyhystrix and Kundurosaurus. Some details might confuse you here. I explain below.
The Batrachognathus here are flying around a curious structure, a "Steinerne Rinne", a rare occurrence in which small, calciumhydrogencarbonat rich creeks over time turn into natural aqueducts because of moss and algae taking the Co2 out of the water. Limestone comes out and encrusts the moss.
Platyhystrix is not only shown with an osteoderm-only-sail but also producing spermatophores. Some modern day salamanders do this after a mating dance instead of the usual watery copulation.
The last scene shows a Kundurosaurus unsure about the situation it is in. It has it's nest next to a blue lava stream. Blue lava is created by high concentrations of burning sulfur on the surface.
