I've seen a few new, very aggressive anti-nondisordered plurality blogs pop up over the last week. Going out of their way to post anti crap in inclusive plural spaces. So I just want to remind everyone that:

No one knows you better than you.

No one knows what you're going through/experiencing better than you do.

There is no 'definitive 1000% way' to 'prove' someone is a system or not. It is a largely internal and subject experience. And that's absolutely ok.

You do not need other people's permission to exist.

You do not need to prove yourself/selves to others.

Your system's origins no matter what they are do not make you more or less of a systems.

You DO NOT have to relive or reveal any trauma/s you have suffered to prove your validity. And anyone who asks you to do so does not have your well-being in mind.

You aren't harming anyone by talking about your lived experience and seeking community with others that understand.

You are a human being who is deserving of respect and kindness.

Respect and kindness of someone else's lived experience SHOULD NOT be contingent on if they can scrounge up articles or peer reviewed studies on if an extremely personal experience is valid or not.

Over medicalization and pathologation of plurality as a whole is rooted in racism and colonialization.

Do not let others act as if they get to dictate who you are and what you experience. The only reliable witness/s to the inner workings of your own mind are those who reside in it. No one else can tell you how you think or what your internal experiences are.

(And its bonkers that some people try)

You are amazing.

You are valid.

The world is a better place for having you in it.

A gender related to being an Avatar of The Dark from TMA initially against your will, but now having accepted it and shifting from a sense of anger to a sense of calm acceptance.

Colours are based off of the popular association of darker green with disgust/distaste fading down into colours generally associated with The Dark, being dark blue to black.

Decoltalen [Dec(ay) - (G)ol(d) - (Pe)tal - En] 

Gender related to silver or gold that has been watercast [poured into water while molten] that looks somewhat similar to decaying flowers.

The topmost colour is intended to represent decaying flowers, vaguely inspired by the 🥀 [Wilting Rose] emoji, the next two colours down are meant to represent watercast gold, and the two bottom colours are meant to represent watercast silver.

Coined for 7/4 of Felidaety's 100 follower event with the [slightly tentative] theme of minerals. This would have been posted earlier if I had been less stressed and had a flag, but it's here now.

2 - Does the host have any other role

Well, we have multiple hosts, so if our permafronters count, then I’m the core/body (more used to core bc we’ve been using it for years), Leo is just a permafronter but sometimes he’s a caretaker when little are front, Reed is a permafronter and considers 🌾self a syskid [🐑’s 17 but considers 🪻self a kid], Kessler, whose role is a mystery even to us [we don’t even know if he’s a permafronter or not] and our current non-permafronter hosts [our hosts switch a lot] would be Victory, who’s a prosecutor, a (possible) anger holder, and a religious headmate, and Nathan, who’s an anxiety holder, and HABIT and RABBIT who aren’t comfy with me sharing their roles, but they have other roles.

Ough… not sure… we have a high headcount so it’s hard to tell but I think we have a large amount of anger and anxiety holders and quite a few syskids/littles.

20 - Do you have a system name and how did you decide on it

We have a system name! In short, it’s [currently] The Song, The Sea, and The Stars, or just Song Sea Stars if you wanna go even shorter, but our full name is kind of a scene? It’s The Old Song Still Echoes Through These Looping Halls. The Ocean Below Us is Silent and Dark. The Stars Outside Mock Us With Their Laughter.

The name came cause our old one was associated with bad memories (as it tends to be when we switch names) and it has some surface level meaning and some deeper meaning. Surface level, we like music, we like the ocean, we like space. I’m gonna dissect our full sys name and the references/meaning below

The Old Song - Bendy and The Ink Machine reference because it’s been a spinterest for years

Still Echoes - Echoey spaces are so yumby for us, also the barest hint of a reference to Dust and Echoes because Halo spin

Through these Looping Halls - Discreet reference to We Went Back, a kinda shitty horror game we’ve been autisming over since we found out about it (I’d ramble if anyone wanted to listen)

The Ocean Below Us - Thalassophobia/General ocean enjoying and also the thought of those glass bridges but above the ocean, we love the thought but we could never-

Is Silent and Dark - Nyctophobia mention also the idea of a calm sea still being too pitch dark to see into it. Also vaguely thinking about ink ocean because opaque, and the eeriness of an ocean or large body of water being still, the calm before the storm, the creeping dread that something is coming from underneath

The Stars Outside - Omfg I love space so much like space is so cool and it’s just ough /pos, also vague reference to We Went Back because it’s set inside a spaceship-esque thing and there are windows

Generalizing Communities and Harassment

I don’t really do discourse [Not that this is discourse, I’m just not sure how to refer to this situation.] but I have opinions and need to share them.

I would like to preface this with I do not know Till/idwl or really anyone in mogaiblr personally but I’ve interacted with faer on multiple occasions (on anon) and even if void did something wrong [which, let’s be clear, I don’t believe void did], it’s not okay to harass void or anyone else accused of unfounded or even founded bullshit. I, admittedly, am a person who, when I get especially upset with things I see, has said that mogaiblr sucks, but I acknowledge and know that I meant that the parts that condone harassment and the people who harass suck.

Harassment even if ‘deserved’ is never okay. If you have a problem with someone, just talk to them, because it’s often a misunderstanding, but harassment and bullshit ‘callouts’ ESPECIALLY when there is LITTLE TO NO EVIDENCE supporting them are bullshit and will just hurt innocent people. Being a cunt to people, even if those people are actually bad, which they often aren’t, is just an excuse to hurt people and be a cunt without feeling bad about it.

Why can’t people be given the benefit of the doubt anymore? In the US, which I know a fair chunk of mogaiblr users are from, it’s innocent until proven guilty, so why in this community is it guilty even once proven innocent?

The fact anyone has to say harassment isn’t okay is ridiculous. It is not and has never been okay and it never will be okay no matter who it’s directed towards.

I do my best not to hate people because of my belief system, but I have no problems saying that I hate the choices that people have made to harass Till and anyone else who’s been driven out of the community or hurt by it in any way. These things are not okay and even if the accusations were true [Which, clarification, again, I don’t believe they are.], it wouldn’t excuse harassing faer or anyone else.

Obviously not all of mogaiblr supports or condones harassment, in fact, most of it doesn’t, but I do understand why people would think that way and sometimes I myself even think that way because of just how loud and pervasive harassment and hate can be. [Not saying that I or anyone else /should/ think that way, but I feel it’s important to not act like I don’t or haven’t.] But we should all at least acknowledge that most of the community aren’t like that and it’s not okay or right to act like it is.

TLDR; Harassment is bad even if someone did actually do something, especially when the person being harassed didn’t do anything wrong.

This can be a gender or species term, or even an orientation if you're feeling it like that.

Colours are based off of 'traditional'/'common' colours associated with angels/heaven fading into darker colours to symbolize the disconnect from one's formerly angelic nature and how it has been 'corrupted' or altered so one is not 'perfect' or 'correct' anymore.

we’re really sorry none of our posts have them but whenever we try it just completely drains us mentally and we don’t know where to start (yes, we know there are whole posts and other things made to help it’s just unbelievably hard for us even with those)

there are things that we want to coin but it just feels impossible for us to even start again because we’re scared people will get mad at us because we don’t- but it’s not because we don’t want to- we’d love to have image IDs for every post we just never feel like it’s gonna be good enough or right enough and it makes us want to cry

might just post things without ids because it’s either that or not post at all

we just feel so bad because we know that image ids are necessary for a lot of people because of various things, but it just feels impossible for us because of our own various things

honestly I see the most complaints about blogs that have energy to make super fancy themes and dividers and coloured text but then don’t have energy for image ids but honestly we don’t even have energy to coin most of the time which is why we haven’t and then it’s hard to make flags and then it’s hard to even try to make ids and it just spirals down and down and more and more roadblocks until simply said nothing happens

I just feel like we’re being horrible for not being accessible even though there’s not really anything we can do to fix it because of our own needs and disabilities and we don’t know who if anyone we could ask to help and then that throws us into even more roadblocks which don’t help anyone…

might just make things and post without, because at least then it would be posted I guess
