Sylveon Facts

-Due to their feelers' soothing effects, these pokemon are great therapy pokemon for people with trauma or ptsd. They can also sense emotional change with their feelers, and can help calm someone down

-Wild sylveon's cute charm ability makes them excellent hunters in the wild. They lure opponents in, also using their feelers, before killing them with said feelers as well

-A lot of Galarian fairytales have stories of Sylveon saving villages by defeating dragon-type pokemon

-As they evolve by love, they are very rare in the wild. (Why I enjoy seeing wild sylveon, because that mean it must really love its pokemon friends)

-Ancient sylveons looked a lot different than how they do now. They evolved to have this cute appearance to be more appealing to humans (which also worked on other pokemon)

-Sylveon are very social creatures. But in the wild, since sylveon are rare, they'll often make friends with other eeveelutions. When spotting an eeveelution in the wild, you might spot a sylveon tagging along with it

-Because of sylveon's color scheme, they are often a symbol of the trans community. In 1981 Kalos, when the first major pride parade in the region took place, a bunch of people brought their sylveons to accompany them

-Despite goodra being a dragon type, they're shown to get along quite well in the wild, as both have friendly natures and get lonely easily

-They gain the cute charm ability because of special pheromones in the pokemon's body that they produce inadvertently. The pheromones produced are a mating call of sorts, which heighten during mating season. The feelers also have pheromones, but they have a soothing aura instead

-Tamed sylveon are said to smell like freshly baked cake

-Though hard to see, sylveon have small fangs used to bite down on prey

Care Tips

-As stated before, sylveon can get lonely easily. Spending lots of time with them is very good, but having other pokemon it can play with is also good too

-They eat a lot of sweet foods. If you want to put them on a farmers diet, berries I suggest are:

1. Pecha berries

2. Shuca berries

3. Payapa berries

4. Waccan berries

5. Nanab berries

6. Custap berries

7. Kasib berries

8. Greppa berries

9. Mago berries

10. Qualot berries

Make sure you give them variety though! It's always good to have variety! Since they're omnivores, giving them meat is also good as well

-Sylveon groom themselves regularly, but bathing them every once in awhile is good too. Once every too weeks should be fine. But this also depends on the individual (people in Paldea tend to bathe their sylveon more)

-They enjoy climbing, and getting them platforms to hop on I'd a great idea

-Sometimes, they'll bring gifts of dead smaller pokemon they caught. If you don't want this, make it clear, and they'll stop
