People don’t understand the concept of liking two characters’ relationship in multiple contexts. They can be lovers in one setting and just friends in another, their dynamic doesn’t have to be consistent in every piece of art I make.

Redd will never stop being the absolute funniest Animal Crossing character to me. It's illegal how underrated he is. He's got either a londoner or new yorky accent depending on how you read it. His logo is a blatant ripoff of Tom Nook's. He's fuzzy. He wears nothing but an apron. He's a bastard. He's clever. He's amazing at art. He does not utilise this talent in a genuine way. He painted the Mona Lisa at least 5 times but with angry eyebrows and no other change. He went to art school. He's divorced from Tom Nook. He has a million cousins. His old colleague now works for his ex instead. He lives on a boat. He has to hide said boat from Tom. He doesn't even know if half his art is real or fake. He's a kitsune with no powers so is essentially just a normal fox. He recreated an entire stone tablet and the only thing he changed was he made it bright blue. Blathers hates him. He's an enemy of the state. He openly admitted he was crazy before realising that was a bad sales technique. He replaced the adjective with 'jolly'. In old games people were blatantly racist against him being a fox. He has the same criminal motivation as Nick Wilde. His name is just the colour of his fur. His password is a spiteful jab at his ex. He's REDD.

He's just so damn FUNNY.

There was an update to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, in which they added a new fruit. The fruit was a bottle of Mountain Dew. There was only one way to get it, by getting 99,000 bells and giving them to the new special character, witch i’m pretty sure was just Tom Nook wearing a black hoodie that covered his face. The Mountain Dew fruit could also be sold for 99,000 bells so people started using this to get rich.

i don’t usually acknowledge replies in my activity feed anymore since it’s a pain in the ass to respond to them but 

tom’s torso is higher up than redd’s is, placing where his neck would be higher up than where redd’s neck would be, his arms are higher than his legs are, either his torso is longer or his legs are longer, and other characters the same height as tom canonically refer to redd being short in wild world thus implying that he is meant to be seen as short in canon. so tell me with that in mind - if redd’s head were drawn proportionately the same size as tom’s head, or the two were depicted as humans where their heads would obviously be the same size who would be noticeably taller? hint: not redd.
