Hi everyone ...
I am Maram Al-Nabulsi, I currently live in the completely destroyed 🏚🚀city of Gaza, specifically Khan Younis. Since the war on Gaza began on 10/7/2023, my family - my father Muhammad, my mother Hiba and my siblings Nour, Maram, Mahmoud - have been living in constant fear, crying and suffering because of shrapnel, shells and bullets. We have no food🥘🌯, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools🏢📚, no homes🏚, no cleaning supplies, no clothes🧣🧥🧤. Our house was completely destroyed. My school was bombed, and my sister Nour's university was turned into rubble, which deprived us all of education. The war forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents that are not suitable for living, especially in winter. Every day we live death, terror and panic a thousand times because of the continuous bombing of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the beginning of the war, we took refuge in my aunt's house, but it was also turned into rubble. Imagine: We have escaped imminent death more than 20 times, and have been displaced between shelters more than 13 times. My brothers and I have suffered from many diseases due to malnutrition, and we need medicine constantly. If we stay in Gaza, we may lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza to a safe place. However, the travel costs are very high. We need more than 70 thousand dollars to leave Gaza. Due to the exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, insecurity, the ongoing blockade, and the continuous bombing, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity💔🙏, with the constant bombing and shrapnel flying above us? My dear compassionate friends around the world, with your generous donations, even if small, you can save 5 people from imminent death, allowing us to start a life outside Gaza full of love, peace, and hope. Best regards from Gaza City....🍉🇵🇸

Do we think "Israel" brazenly bragging about not allowing humanitarian aid through the border will be enough for people to stop scolding Gazans for making individual/family fundraisers because "it's better to donate to trusted orgs instead" or are they never going to get it?
So, I'm on Daeran-commissioning spree, so here's another one by awesome 08HWO. I just can't stop staring at it! Posted with permission of course. Artist's tumblr is inactive, so here's her twitter.
You're rarely, if ever, going to have the chance to personally foil an immigration raid. But there are a number of groups working on both direct services to immigrants and political advocacy, and you can help them any time.
Here's a short list of possibilities, with overlapping group missions related to immigrant rights in the US (and in a couple of cases, internationally). Some things you can do on each site:
Donate
Sign up for newsletters so you're ready to respond to new political developments
Sign up to volunteeer, digitally or in person
United We Dream
United We Dream is the largest immigrant youth-led community in the country.
Mid-South Immigration Advocates
Mid-South Immigration Advocates (MIA) is the first nonprofit law firm in the region whose core mission is to provide free and affordable immigration representation to low-income clients. Founded in 2013 by local immigration attorneys who recognized a need in our community for quality legal services, MIA empowers immigrant communities by helping people obtain economic security, maintain family unity, and escape violence.
Freedom for Immigrants (some international resources)
Freedom for Immigrants is an abolitionist organization that envisions a world without prisons or cages of any kind.
HIAS (international mission)
Drawing on our Jewish values and history, and working with host communities, HIAS provides vital services to refugees, asylum seekers, and other forcibly displaced and stateless persons around the world and advocates for their fundamental rights so they can rebuild their lives. [You can donate and volunteer for HIAS without being Jewish!]
National Immigration Law Center
Established in 1979, the National Immigration Law Center (NILC) is one of the leading advocacy organizations in the U.S. dedicated to advancing and defending the rights and opportunities of low-income immigrants and their loved ones.

Hello, hope things will get better for you. I'm sending an ask since I'm unsure of how to handle donations. Specifically, who to donate to.
I've not just reblogged Palestinian fundraisers since late 2023, but I've been approached by many Palestinians expecting me to donate. Overall, I think it's a ton of people.
Should I work hard to donate to everyone? Or should I prioritize? I know I'm just one person but I'd like to know.
Thank you for reading!
Now that aid is coming in, I highly recommend focusing on mutual aid distribution projects by Ghazzawiyeh for Ghazzawiyeh, over specific families' fundraisers (I do not discourage donating to them! But prioritize this if you can, please). Here's a few I trust or who are trusted by those working on the ground:
MECA.
Mona's mutual aid project.
Sameer Project.
Dahnoun mutual aid.
USA people! Buy NOTHING Feb 28 2025. Not anything. 24 hours. No spending. Buy the day before or after but nothing. NOTHING. February 28 2025. Not gas. Not milk. Commit. 1 day. 1 day to scare the shit out of them that they don't get to follow the bullshit executive orders. They don't get to be cowards. If they do, it costs. It costs.
Then, if you can join me for Phase 2. March 7 2025 thtough March 14 2025? No Amazon. None. 1 week. No orders. Not a single item. Not one ebook. Nothing. 1 week. Just 1.
If you live outside the USA boycott US products on February 28 2025 and stand in solidarity with us and also join us for the week of no Amazon.
Are you with me?
Spread the word.
Nanami episodes are known for being very silly but I really like how much more serious her duel episodes are. Her naivety is usually played for laughs but during these episodes we get to face the underlying but obvious reality that oh yeah Nanami is being emotionally manipulated by her brother into tying her entire sense of identity and self worth to him, believing she is becoming better by doing so when actually she is degrading herself to please him to the point she metaphorically turned into a cow at one point. That's not funny, that's fucking horrifying.
ICE raids happening in Chicago on Tuesday January 21st. Get organized and get prepared.
There is literally no moral value to any gender. It is All Morally Neutral. It should go without saying but I think we've circled back societally to assigning value and personality based on gender
Israel has violated Phase 2 of the ceasefire agreement and has blocked humanitarian aid from entering Gaza once again during Ramadan. Prices for food and other necessities have skyrocketed. In addition to this, the solar panels that produce the energy that allows Gazans to connect to the internet are still in need of repair.
Simply put: there is a lot for us to do right now.
Please donate and share to the Al-Anqars fundraiser, which supports the lives of 14 people, as well as their community in North Gaza. While the Rafah border crossing is still closed, it is IMPERATIVE that we continue raising funds so that once it opens, the family can cross as quickly as possible.
