Anyone who says that both parties are the same or that the current administration is already doing this, is someone whose opinion you shouldn’t take seriously because they are not engaging with reality. The US has problems but it is not an authoritarian police state and, while it suffers under capitalist greed, it can be fixed if we all engage with the system in a good faith way. The change we want is happening, just because it’s not happening as fast as some people want doesn’t mean we should burn it all to the ground.

Exactly my whole point about how we need to get the fuck out there and VOTE. That was Hillary being many points ahead of Trump and everyone was like, "Ahh we got this, no biggie!"
