This is a really old picture (if you can’t read the date, it’s from 2010) of a hypothetical Rockman World 6.
The Rockman World games are the Mega Man games that were released on the Game Boy. There were 5 of them in total. With the exception of the fifth and final one, each Rockman World game would take four bosses from the Mega Man game the Rockman World game was numbered after, and then four bosses from the next Mega Man game (for example, Rockman World 3 had four bosses from Mega Man 3 and four bosses from Mega Man 4). Well, 6 seems like a nice round number, and I was thinking that it’d be cool if we somehow got one more installment to the Rockman World games. Though, this time the selection of bosses would be a bit more varied, spanning Mega Man 5-10 and Mega Man & Bass. My picks are based on whether I like the Robot Master’s design, their stage music, or their weapon. From left to right, the heads of the Robot Masters I’ve picked are: Star Man (Mega Man 5) Knight Man (Mega Man 6) Cloud Man (Mega Man 7) Sword Man (Mega Man 8) Tengu Man (Mega Man 8) Cold Man (Mega Man & Bass) Splash Woman (Mega Man 9) Nitro Man (Mega Man 10) Also, some of you may notice that I’ve taken inspiration from the cover art (the Japanese cover art, anyway) for Mega Man 3.
