The feminine urge to fight God and win

More heroes!!! (Yes, I know Minotaurox and Ryuko have extremely similar color schemes, please just pretend they look unique lol.)
Polymouse/Mylene is a very interesting character in MTS, as she seems fairly similar to her original counterpart, but a significant part of her background (and by extension, how she connects to the plot) is quite different…
Haven’t been able to make a proper drawing in a bit. Life’s been hectic, y’know? Regardless here’s some doodles of the… triplets? Kinda???
(The superhero sillies, but with various moods I’ve experienced this week.)
Thank You For Your Help!!! 😊😁😊😁
Of course! Always nice to help assist someone else with their ideas (I don’t know what I’d do without my person to bounce ideas off of).
Hi, big fan of your drawings! I've some of your stuff for your au, and I'm curious if you could help me with something. So I'm working on my own miraculous headcanon au with a whole miraculous order and Miracle council. The council has 13 seats, the Grandmaster of the order, and the Guardians of the 12 miracle boxes. Currently I have 11 box for different regions (China, North America, Central America, South America, Japan, Greece, the Celtic Regions, India, Egypt, Australia, and Iberia) currently I'm unsure of what to have as my 12th. I'm thinking either Russia or Canada (leaning a little more towards Canda). Which of the 2 do you think I should go for, or do you have any other recommendations? (Sorry if this is ranty, I have a tendency to do that. Sorry to put you on the spot it's just that I feel like you could be a big help since your Miracle Box system is kinda similar)
Sorry it took me so long to respond. I’m happy to help to the best of my ability and I don’t mind receiving messages of this nature at all.
While you could always go with Canada as it’s own box, the North American continent only has three countries to split the miraculous between (Canada, Mexico, US), so I feel having both a North American and Canadian box isn’t really necessary.
Russia isn’t a bad idea either; however, I feel like making your twelfth miracle box inspired by a country or region in Africa might add more variety to your Order. So far, the only box found in Africa is Egypt, and that’s far more closer to the European continent. (By that I mean that there are a lot of miracle boxes in that general area, which isn’t a bad thing at all, but it does mean that you might want to place your final miracle box in an area where there aren’t as many nearby boxes.)
As for where specifically, I’m not entirely sure, somewhere around west, central, or Southern Africa might be a good place to start.
(I understand how difficult it can be to narrow your options down to only twelve boxes, as well as the struggle to evenly distribute said boxes around the world, especially when every country, even ones right next to each other, has their own unique culture and identity.)
Thank you for the ask and I hope this helps (if there is something I wrote that I need to further clarify, feel free to message me again)! Good luck with your AU!
What do you get when you cross No New Design November and Ninovember? This apparently:
The embodiment of misfortune…
Toxinelle-ish design (I was too lazy to draw her eyes, the white spots are part of the mask).
Wasn’t going to post non-MTS-related content but I was thinking about the whole Emilie vs. Amelie debate. Aren’t their hair colors slightly different shades of blonde (I’m also pretty sure one of them was slightly paler than the other…)?
Theoretically, we could compare their hair shades to the mystery twin at the pool to find out which is which, right?
(Couldn’t decide which photo to use for Amelie: I wanted to try to find photos with the same lighting as the pool scene, but I couldn’t find any for her via google and I’m too lazy to rewatch all her episodes.)
I’m not sure which one it is though, so if someone is able to tell, please let me know!
Update: It seems that the writers have confirmed that it’s Amelie. Mystery’s over.
I’d like to make a special shout out to this one Tumblr user (I saw their post an eternity ago so I sadly don’t remember their name) who said that the round thing on the Bubbler’s head kinda looked like a man bun. This post is for you (and all of the rainbow as a part of a color scheme enthusiasts).
One alternative name use for GDV is Asher.
That’s true, and I’ve brainstormed a few ideas for an alternative name for him, but admittedly I find the sharing the same name thing really funny, so for now he’s stuck with the same name. (I might consider it further though Regardless, thank you for the ask!
I was gonna post this in the Be Nice to Felix Day Compilation, but it wasn’t ready yet.
And also a reference sheet because this is probably super confusing to the casual viewer:
“This is my brother Felix, and this is our cousin Felix.”
Oh noes! Be Nice to Felix Day is almost over! *frantically dumps art*
(Warning: I drew some of this art a while ago, so some of it is kinda bad and inconsistent.)
I like to think that as a superhero, Rose’s personality is a little too sweet (to the point of being unsettling), and she accidentally scares the civilians she’s trying to help. That along with her power, (which is very similar to how it is in the original show except showing people their greatest desire causes them to fall asleep), results in her having an aesthetic that’s a mixture of whimsical and spooky, which was the general look I was going for with her design. (Rose is also known as Pigment, not Pigella, in MTS.)
To make up for my inability to answer most of the miracle box questions I’ve been getting (which is mainly because I still haven’t figured out all of the lore yet, my bad guys!) I’m posting a few silly sketches of the kwami I have drawn:
It’s mostly Plagg and Tikki with a single, mentally disturbed Barkk (I think I was trying to draw her at a certain angle and then just stopped because it looked funnier that way.) Also a few attempts at drawing Flicc, the firefly kwami! (Also the bracelet that Zoe is wearing is not a miraculous, but some random accessory.)
I feel bad I didn't ask this soon, I genuinely just realized I never asked this, but what miraculous make your Asia Continental/Celestial Miracle Box and your European Continental Miracle Box?
Thank you for the ask!
I’ll start with the part of the question that I can answer in entirety. For organizational purposes, I’ll be listing the Kwami in a sort of hierarchical order that is also part of Unlimited’s Kwami lore.
Celestial Miracle Box:
Prime Kwami - Tikki (kwami of creation), Plagg (kwami of destruction)
Elder Kwami - Pollen (kwami of regulation), Wayzz (kwami of protection), Flicc (kwami of revelation)
Minor Kwami - Mullo (kwami of division), Stompp (kwami of determination), Roarr (kwami of elation), Fluff (kwami of preservation), Longg (kwami of composition), Sass (kwami of intuition), Kaalki (kwami of migration), Ziggy (kwami of abstraction), Xuppu (kwami of disruption), Orikko (kwami of commotion), Barkk (kwami of devotion), Daizzi (kwami of distraction)
As for the Continental European Miracle Box, we’ve got a lot more to figure out.
Prime Kwami - Nooroo* (kwami of presentation), Duusu (kwami of animation)
Elder Kwami - Trixx (kwami of illusion), ??? (Number of elder kwami not determined)
Minor Kwami - ??? (Also not yet determined. Apologies y’all, we haven’t been thinking on that part of the story too much yet. I seriously underestimated how interested people would be in the miracle boxes.)
(The number of minor kwami for the average miracle box is about 6-20, depending on the number of elder kwami and what the kwami are based on. For example, the celestial minor kwami are based off of the Chinese Zodiac calendar. So the European Kwami might be based something relevant to the history of the continent. As for what that is… we’re still workshopping it. Like I said, sorry guys.)
*When making this decision, it has come to my attention that it’s kinda confusing to have a European Miraculous have a power (akumas) that references Japanese folklore (then again, wasn’t it implied that the miraculous either came from China or Tibet despite neither of those locations having something to do with akumas?). Regardless, we’ll likely either change the name of the power to something else (maybe make it a spoken word like almost every other power?) or not directly refer to it by name.
(I also realize that the same problem can be applied to amoks.)
(I know NOW that it was supposed to be pourpre, not purple, but I got a lil too invested in the color scheme.) These two might be an unconventional duo, but there’s a method to the madness here, I swear. (Not Ryuko looking like a whole new character here oof…)
Out of curiosity have you ever made or considered making Japanese or Brazilian miracle boxes? I tried to make a Japanese miracle box but got sidetracked with college stuff, so I never got passed the first idea and forgot about it until recently. All I remember is I wanted some miraculous to represent yokai (specifically a Japanese Snow Macaque representing a Yuki-onna).
While I wouldn’t say either has directly crossed my mind, both make a lot of sense and we will likely be considering them somewhere down the line as both seem like locations that would be explored, especially in Unlimited, as the heroes would travel the world far more frequently (in terms of actual episodes, not just specials) in the sequel show (Unlimited is also the show that focuses more on the kwami and miracle lore, so the chance of featuring these boxes is extra likely!)
I’m also pretty sure that there will be canon Miraculous specials in both locations, so we might see which miraculous are featured there and decide what to keep and change. There’s also the questions of which miraculous will be actively shown, which ones will simply be mentioned, and whether or not there are any lost or stolen miraculous in these areas (probably not, since MTS will have worn that plot thread out already, but we don’t have anything too set in stone yet)
Thank you for the ask and I will do my best to keep this question in mind when we start really developing the plot of Unlimited.
In honor of it being spooky month, I have decided to post one of my akuma designs
This is the MTS version of Sole Crusher. When a character gets akumatized, its usually because a short-term situation they’re in triggers an underlying issue that has been festering long before Hawk Moth even started terrorizing Paris (the main exceptions to this being young children, who have had less time for a large issue to fester, but also struggle with dealing with their intense emotions, and the more sinister akumas, who are easier to akumatize due to being full of negative energy). In this case, it would be the short term trigger of Chloe trying to get Zoe to behave like her (which would be more of an attempt on Chloe’s part to show her little sister how she genuinely thinks the world works as opposed to being intentionally malicious towards her) combining with Zoe’s long term traumas of needing to conform to others’ desires such as the kids at her boarding school and their mother (hence why SC’s design has the black and white like Audrey’s style).
Sole Crusher’s power would also be different from what it was in the original series. Instead of needing to touch people with the shoes she’s wearing to absorb them and grow larger, she’d end up summoning giant, high heeled pillars to step on people and drain them of all personality (“If I can’t be myself… No one can!”). This change was mainly made to prevent there from being too many akumas whose power is grow really big, and it fit the soul crusher idea that her name is inspired by far better.
(I also think it goes without saying that Zoe’s acting complex would not be resolved in one episode. She’d probably start to act perfect and sweet with the rest of the cast at the end of the episode, but it’s more that she’s watering down her personality to appease potential new friends rather than genuinely being fully honest with others. Similarly, most of the other characters would hold on to their suspicions of Zoe and not immediately accept her.)
I'm curious, do you have a South American Miracle Box, and if so what animals are included in it❓
In addition to the Continental Miracle Box of South America (every continent has one particularly powerful miracle box), I like to think there’d be several others in some of the specific countries. As for what Kwami would featured… Admittedly, we haven’t thought that far yet. As I may or may not have mentioned yet (I forgot if I did) most of the kwami from other areas and surrounding lore would be brought up in Miraculous: Unlimited, which would be the sequel to the first show, Miraculous: The Series. Thank you for the ask, and I apologize if my answer was unsatisfying.
This is going to be an… interesting post, since this character technically doesn’t exist in MTS, but I designed him based on headcanons about what he’d be like if he did. It’s everyone’s favorite problematic baby bird boi, Mr. Felix (insert middle names here) Graham de Vanilly *redacted*!
(And no, I don’t consider him to be the same person as Felix Agreste or any other sort of Felix based on the PV. I know that he’s supposed to be the same, but they are just so different to me, you gotta understand!)
Headcanon(s) time: In MTS, any sentis created by the broken peacock miraculous would turn out slightly different from what the user intended. Fortunately, I imagine Felix GDV was created when the miraculous wasn’t broken enough to impact how he’d turn out mentally, but he was created looking how he looks above in his natural form and would have to put in a great deal of effort to look more human. (Similarly, using the peacock miraculous wouldn’t have been enough to slowly kill someone, just make them really sick for a few weeks to months, so when the terrible Mr. Fathoms died, it was not illness related and he was most likely very justifiably murdered by our queen Amelie.)
I’ve also got a few headcanons on what his dynamics would be like with the characters of MTS (including the other Felix who would be his cousin just like Adrien, but those two wouldn’t be sentisapiens for story reasons), but this post is probably already long enough as is. Who knows, maybe I’ll make more art of this silly little guy in the future!
Posting more art to keep myself sane (saw a bad ML take, trying to cope). And it’s Bunnix! Her outfit was partly inspired off of the Ben 10 (2005) style (also her colors reminded me of Portal).
Hey, so I've this au idea for a little while (and have shared it with others on Tumblr, though anonymously), and I wanted to get your opinion on it. I've had this miraculous au idea for a while, and I think I'm ready to talk about it. So, the idea is that instead of the miraculous heroes going up against evil miraculous holders instead they fight against supernatural beings. Full on magic vs. magic. We could see the heroes fight things like a necromancer creating a ghost/skeleton army using the skeletons in the Paris Catacombs, a pack of evil werewolves, a colony of vampires trying to create a hivemind Salem's Lot style, a black knight with a corrupted excalibur, a kelpie, a water monster luring in the local pool, the fae, the feywild, (playing of French mythology) the Beast of Gévaudan (or it's ghost), or Gargouille (a sea serpent that terrorized the French countryside before being killed by a Saint and then being turned into the first gargoyle) that got resurrected and is bring gargoyles to life to living to attack Paris. Maybe the miraculous could be the reason why all these creatures are in Paris (assuming this could also be an idea for what could happen after Hawkmoth is defeated, since I'm really not into the idea of the show’s next villain being another butterfly user after five seasons of it (which was already too long) (plus I don't care enough about Lila and her shitty writing and the writers dumbing down all the people around her to make her work to really care about her as a villain). Maybe all the magic from the miraculous has drawn all these creatures in, turning Paris into a magical beacon/hotspot, going off the idea that magic attracts magic.
This would be a really cool addition to the world building of Miraculous! I’ve always thought that if the Kwami exist, other magical beings should as well.
It also sounds like this new show/continuation of the previous show would be more episodic with occasional arcs rather than a fully serialized story with the villains and such, which going off of the idea that this is post HM defeat and LS reveal and etc would make a lot of sense since most of the major interpersonal conflicts have been resolved. Obviously that doesn’t mean this show can’t have ANY plot or depth, character growth and multi-episode arcs could definitely still work with this storyline. It would also be very fascinating to explore how to react to all of these new threats, especially since some of their old powers don’t work anymore (which opens up the gateway to potential upgrades or new powers to replace the old ones).
I also wonder if the other hero characters would still be featured in this story. They don’t get all that fleshed out in the show, so most of them may not seem all that compelling, but that could be another thing this new plot does, give some characters other than the MCs time to shine as individuals. (Especially since Ladybug is no longer required in every fight due to not needing to purify akumas anymore, not to mention the idea of LB and CN resolving most of their issues, so taking the spotlight off of them every now and then isn’t bad idea. Don’t get me wrong, I love those guys, I just wish we could see more of the other characters outside it being plot devices or eye candy.)
All in all, this is an excellent and intriguing idea and I would love to see it expanded upon. 10/10 concept, no doubt.
So, how many miracle boxes are in your aus?
Ooo, that’s a very good and hard to answer question! There’s the six (maybe seven, idk about Antarctica yet) Continental Miracle boxes, and I think there’s be at least one box for each country (although some countries have been created and others have been dissolved, so that might also factor into the Guardians’ decision on the boxes) and I could see some of the more populated, large in terrain, and diverse countries getting multiple.
In all honestly, I’m not completely sure yet on the exact or even general number. Our Miraculous reboot is divided into two different show concepts. 1. Miraculous: the Series, which is the Hawk Moth conflict, the Love Square progression, and the origin stories of a lot of the heroes. 2. A sort of sequel show that takes place a year after the ending of MTS, and deals with the fallout from the first show’s events, Marinette and Adrien’s relationship, perhaps some cool new powerups (after all, what is a show without cool merch ideas?), and focuses a lot more on the Miraculous and Kwami lore, especially when it comes to Unlimited’s main villains. While we’ve got MTS pretty filled in when it comes to all major plot points and details (it just hasn’t been written down yet), Unlimited is a lot less detailed for now.
Idk guys, these two songs seem kinda LadyNoir-coded to me… (the songs, not the ship itself)
So, given the fact you've included a firefly and greyhound miraculous, does that mean you'll be removing the idea of the miraculous being tied to a specific region or culture (which personally I think is for the best)?
First of all, thank you for the ask! It means a lot to me that someone wants to know about this story!
I should probably clear one thing up: there isn’t a greyhound miraculous. It’s still the dog miraculous, only with more range in costume colors (depending on the breed the holder wants to represent) and a different power (switched from Fetch to a healing ability known as Primary Care) because it fit better with both of Felix and Barkk’s respective characters/storylines. I wasn’t exactly clear with the wording on the original post though, so I understand the confusion.
As for the concept of regional Kwami, they were sorted and placed in Miracle Boxes all around the world by the Guardians. These boxes vary in number and status of Kwami depending on the region (a heavily populated area with a more volatile history will likely get a larger Miracle Box than a sparsely populated, predominantly peaceful region).
In addition, the strongest box on a given continent is known as a Continental Miracle Box (an obvious name, I know). A majority of the Kwami that appear in MTS (barring the world specials) are from Asia’s Continental Miracle Box (also known as the Celestial Miracle Box), which is the oldest and most powerful of all the Miracle Boxes (because it would be damaging to the plot of the show to have other Kwami who can alter the fabric of reality).
In regard to the FIrely Kwami, they actually are a member of the Celestial Miracle Box; However, Nooroo, Duusu, and Trix are all apart of the European Continental Miracle Box rather than the Celestial one for story reasons.
Sorry for the long-winded answer, and if there’s anything I should clarify, let me know and I’ll be happy to try (to the best of my tends-to-infodump-messily abilities).
Here’s a couple of Miraculous fan favorites! (I won’t lie, these two’s hairstyles were really hard to draw! I think it was worth it though.)
Okay, now it’s time for the actual main characters.
I tried to make them look good both as stand-alone characters and as a duo (I got CN first try, but this LB was actually my second attempt at designing her…)
This is my reboot’s version of Carapace. The circumstances behind him getting the turtle miraculous was a bit more dire than the original show, hence why he looks… like that.
Planning a reboot of sorts of Miraculous Ladybug (reboot because I’m not focusing on correcting things from the previous show as much as using the concepts from ML to make my own thing, since I like the og show, just wanted to make my own interpretation). These two are Night Light (Zoe Lee but she wields the firefly miraculous, which is original to the reboot) and Greyhound (Felix but based off his PV iteration, and he wields the dog miraculous but it kinda works differently from Miraculous). They are superhero partners, but NOT love interests. And don’t worry, they also aren’t the main characters, that’s still Ladybug and Chat Noir (who I might post one day if people are interested).
