On the second day of the ceasefire, I want to say that I’m very grateful to everyone who has helped my friends in Gaza. Nader’s (@abdalsalam2000) fundraiser has reached almost 88,000 euro, and is only 12,000 away from the final goal. He is a seventeen year old boy who is trying to save his family of eight, which includes his one year old niece Iman and his father Ahmed who suffers from cancer which is going untreated because of the genocide. They need to evacuate to get Ahmed the treatment he needs to survive. I’m very emotional and grateful for the help they’ve received, it means the world to their family and all the people who care about them. I think very often of the people who donated €1,000, that money makes more of a difference than I can put into words. I just want to say that your donations and your words matter intensely, you have the power to show these people that the world is listening and that we care and you want to help, and that can help keep hope up. They’ve suffered a lot, and continuing to ask for help is difficult. Please continue to give Nader and his family your support and share this post and donate. Your donations can be what saves them.

My name is Inas Imad, from Gaza, and I am 30 year old wife and first time expecting mother living in the most unimaginable and dire circumstances for over a year now. Three years ago I married my best friend and have struggled trying to start a family. Even after this war began, my husband and I did not lose hope in starting our family and we continued in determination to live and to bring new life into this world. I am now currently pregnant with our first child, however due to the consequences of this war, I am faced with a high risk, dangerous pregnancy according to the doctor and I am very afraid that if I do not get get adequate nutrition, the medications, and supplies that I need, I will lose my child. The doctor has ordered medication to be given by injection throughout my pregnancy to help me carry my baby to term, however I do not have the money to purchase the medication and syringes needed, nor do we have the money to purchase adequate nutrition. Life here in Gaza is very difficult and we become more hopeless by the day. My husband and I had just started to build our lives together. We had a nice home where we had planned to start our family, and now we are subjected to living in a tent where there is no bathroom and we spend our nights just trying to get warm. It has been difficult being pregnant and not having a bathroom or even a bed to sleep on, but I want my child more than anything. The only hope we have left is in our baby and I am asking you to stand with us. Please, help us in any way you can to save our child. We feel very alone and abandoned, but we are determined to live and we want to see our child be one of the miracles that comes out of Gaza. Any amount you can donate, no matter how small, means the world to us. We will never forget you standing with us. Please, help me to evacuate from Gaza so that I can see my dream of being a mother and bringing my beautiful baby into this world to make it a better place and helping my husband and I be able to watch our child grow up. bethesda and blizzard are specifically named, but other companies under xbox game studios include mojang and obsidian entertainment - i'm highlighting obsidian here because (afaik) i haven't seen anyone bring them up specifically. i don't mean this in a condemnatory way, i'm an enjoyer of obsidian games myself, i just want to make sure people are aware.

For those who already own the games or the console, the organizers said, the ideal move would be to stop playing, but the primary ask from organizers is to help deprive Microsoft of revenue. Therefore, players can be compliant with the boycott by avoiding future purchases of games or consoles and by avoiding transactions inside the games.
