deca-dence is a great anime cause they drop an end-of-season worthy batshit plot twist in epsiode TWO and expect u to just roll with it despite the insane whiplash after episode one

Heeeeeey as it turns out I didn’t forget about summer after all. Yeah I know this is going up a bit late and that I didn’t really do any other writing over summer, but over each month individually I never felt like I did much worth noting. It got to the point that I figured I should just make a post recapping the whole season once it ended, and as it turned out that ended up being the best approach to take. Even with having three months worth of stuff to go through it felt like just barely enough to warrant making a longer post about. But hey at least some of that stuff ended up being pretty good.

Deca-Dence is an annoying show to recommend cause there’s a giant plot twist really early on and you can’t explain the nuances of why it’s good at all without spoiling it so any way you can describe it doesn’t really do it justice.

Please just stick with it for a few episodes!!
