Did I really spend an hour and a half editing that picture of Roman into an oil painting? Maybe...
But genuinely, I put too much overpainting into this to try and give that classic oil painting look. Did it work? I don't know. But here it is!

Kindness is often mistaken for softness and let me tell you, friends….that is a mistake you don’t want to make.
Kind people are not born that way, they do not stumble into it, kind people are forged in fire and darkness and imploding stars…they have steel cores. Throw a punch and you’re going to break your hand.

It was on my, like, 7th watch of “Yakko Amakko” thar I realized Yakko pleading for the animator not to draw him any extra arms — “anything but that!” — was actually a ruse! On my initial watches, I thought he was just reacting in a fit of rage to the animator disrespecting his wishes, but no. He actually sets the whole thing up.
Look at this little stinker. After telling the animator she’s “won,” Yakko pulls the biggest pleading puppy-dog eyes we’ve ever seen from him to make the animator think he’s genuinely asking she not draw him extra arms.
Then, he deliberately raises up his arms, thereby giving her the perfect opportunity to give him extra limbs.
But as soon as she’s done, he opens up one eye, and the puppy-dog pout is gone. He uses his new extra strength to grab the pen, pull in the animator, and go for the kill.
This actually says a lot about Yakko’s acumen as a toon. He succeeded where both Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny failed. Yakko bested the animator “getting screwy” with him, while Daffy and Bugs were unable to do so.
