sometimes a family is a you, a feral ballerina with 6 limbs, and a brain damaged man with a lot of trauma but a very optimistic attitude
The only reason why transphobes always ask “what is a woman” instead of “what is a man” is because we all know that a man is a featherless biped.
I might be finding this out late but Sewerslvt is back and alive? What a relief😯
I feel like these specific words, said by none other than Jack Crawford to Hannibal about Will in Amuse-bouche (s01e02!) are so overlooked by the fandom.
sad slav saturday
Why can't I donate my living body to science
Today I went to Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien so I'm posting the least atrociously photographed art I have from there ^^
Behold! Helena Fourment! (Only real ones know the context) (I am ashamed to admit this painting was the entire point of the trip and even after seeing it with my own eyes I still dislike it lol)
Judith with the head of Holofernes:
1. Carlo Sacareni
2. Simon Vouet. Always a pleasure to see his work in a gallery.
Ancient statue of godess Isis. She's so badass looking and the two colors of marble, breathtaking.
Girl in a fur, Tizian. I have no idea if Masoch ever saw this painting so just in case I am in love with her for him. But genuinely, my favourite from the "new" paintings that I saw today.
Me n who? (Idk who they are ngl)
Apollo and Daphne, Jakob Auer. One of those that impressed me the most.
More Apollo.
Dionysus, good to see you!
Aaand souvenirs:
(Somebody cure me of autism please)
Atp I need confirmation that I am of different species in order to stop holding myself to human expectations
I am honestly in amazement that I am able to access 100+ year old archives from cities hundreds of kilometers away, find the information I'm looking for and even be able to translate it to a different language in a matter of seconds. Technology is amazing and the people who digitalize the cultural and historical heritage are saints.
