How to turn off AI-scraping from your Word documents

Microsoft Office, like many companies in recent months, has slyly turned on an “opt-out” feature that scrapes your Word and Excel documents to train its internal AI systems. This setting is turned on by default, and you have to manually uncheck a box in order to opt out.

If you are a writer who uses MS Word to write any proprietary content (blog posts, novels, or any work you intend to protect with copyright and/or sell), you’re going to want to turn this feature off immediately.How to Turn off Word’s AI Access To Your Content

I won’t beat around the bush. Microsoft Office doesn’t make it easy to opt out of this new AI privacy agreement, as the feature is hidden through a series of popup menus in your settings:On a Windows computer, follow these steps to turn off “Connected Experiences”:

File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Privacy Options > Privacy Settings > Optional Connected Experiences > Uncheck box: “Turn on optional connected experiences”

Working on polishing the 40cm version prototype master copy of Fianna for resin casting. I've been polishing it for more than 32 hours. 😂 I need to coat it with primer and do more polishing. Hopefully, it'll be flawless, and there will be minimal polishing needed when resin casts are made from this master copy.

Two mini Muriels available

I'm in the home stretch of printing Muriels! All the other colors I have to print are 5 or fewer of each. I typically print two minis on a plate and it's difficult to mix less resin than that so the vat doesn't run out. Because of this, I have room to print exactly… two extra dolls.

Looking at my list it looks like it would be (mini size only): 1 Lime, 1 Yellow OR Grapefruit OR Magenta (whichever is taken first).

I can do a kit, assembled blank, or blushed of any of those three. Kit is 125; blank is 170; blushed is 200.

They all come with two swappable face plates, a CoA, and their own serial number. I can do a layaway of two payments split 50/50. More photos here.
