the true haunting is when someone likes or reblogs a post you made about an old fandom you’re no longer in and the notification you receive is your ex-spouse’s relative knocking on your front door and you’re just “oh well we’re not together anymore” whether it’s followed by “but would you like to come in for a cup of tea” or “I’d rather not talk about it” depends on how you parted ways with the fandom, if it’s a messy divorce or a peaceful one where both you and the ex-fandom are on good terms, of course.
