Wonder Woman by Jeff Spokes
not even joking, if the fifth movie comes out and a random white boy is introduced, I’m barging into the directors office with a bomb strapped to my chest
And what if I say Jason is, if not the most, one of the most tragic characters in the pjo books and he was only hated because people expected Percy's narration in TLH
To the people saying "Jason wouldn't have jumped into tartarus for Piper, like Percy did for Annabeth" as a way to demean him. Jason, plunged into the sky from the grand canyon to catch Piper in the first few pages of the lost hero without even knowing who she was, and without the knowledge that he could fly. so he basically jumped to his death attempting to catch her. In the first few pages of his journey, he didn't mind dying to save Piper, and ironically, that's also what he did in the last few pages of his journey. Y'all just be making the most out of pocket claims abt jason fr
One major mistake people make when looking at Snow White is assuming that they were trying to create a Disney Princess role model for little girls to emulate, when actually they were just trying their darndest to create an animated character that audiences would care about.
When we see pure and innocent Snow White being mistreated by her stepmother and later driven into exile, it's supposed to activate parental instincts that make us want to protect her. It shouldn't matter if she doesn't do anything to save herself, because she shouldn't have to. We're supposed to feel the injustice of it, feel sad and angry that she's treated this way, fear that she's going to come to harm. We're not supposed to want to be her, we're supposed to love her, and want to see her get the love she deserves, so we remain invested for the entire runtime of this 80-minute cartoon that they're afraid audiences won't sit through. That's what mattered to the story while they were making it, so applying Disney Princess expectations is ridiculous.
my reaction to this entire arc
FLO - CHECK
i'm going to be honest with you all. i don't know if i can spend the next two or so years until d5 listening to everyone bending over backwards to theorise that ella and/or charming are secretly evil and pulled the prank on bridget. i really don't. i might blow up.
"but uliana couldn't have opened the book" it was probably morgie. y'know, the person who, according to the royals and villains book is desperate for uliana's validation and 'not the most liked' in his group. and thus the person uliana probably made open the book in the og timeline just incase it did fuck them up. "what if ella or charming were tricked by-" this is ella who would tell uliana to her face to get fucked and charming who thought it was impressive they "bested" uliana. in what world are they doing fuck all for her. "but ella was grounded and the prank didn't happen!" i don't know how to tell you this but ella being forbidden to go to the ball is actually the plot of cinderella.
How do you explain to people that one of your current favourite ongoing manga is a shounen about fighting off interdimensional invaders and it's fully just committed itself to a tactical computer game e-sports arc for the last 3 years? And that it's still just as good?!?!
