The Bonks have spoken.

I know this is a touchy subject in the Bionicle fandom but I strongly feel like if we got another reboot they should change the toa of stone to a toa of air.

The previous reboot already changed Lewa from air to jungle/plantlife, and having earth and stone feels super redundant.

Po-Wahi/Koro are already portrayed as an arid and windy desert, with sandstorms being common, and Pohatu is associated with speed, thus he 'runs like the wind'.

This doesn't change the Po-Matoran from being associated with stone carvings, since many rock structures are made from wind erosion.

'But Lewa can fly, he's always in the air.' I hear you say, to which I reply 'He levitates.' Which I always interpreted as being able to jump higher and fall slowing, giving him more control of his descent, and minimal gliding, not flight. This is still useful when trying to reach tree tops and branches, and reaching the ground without hurting yourself, he is like a leaf on the wind, not actually flying.

I know I'm gonna have the Vahki knocking on my door any second, but I will die on this hill.

me 6 hours after announcing my biggest post release project yet:

My work is finally done. It's fairly basic and I'm still kinda new to this animation/modeling style but I'm happy to finally have this image in my head in a visual form. At any moment a Matoran of Light could turn into a bohrok, so I wanted to creep-factor (thanks majora's mask) and I hope I pulled it off

(Sound effects are the deku scrub mask transformation from majora's mask and the song is the song of healing also from majora's mask)
