I played around with the “Which Toa Metru are you?” Flash game test thing (found on the BioMedia project), and here’s what I got.

I seem to have a tie between Vakama and Nokama, with 20% of Nuju, and the rest of them being 10% each.

So uh…yeah, I guess this makes sense.

Wish we could have an adult conversation about how media has a trend of ignoring male characters getting sexually assaulted and seemingly pretending it never happened. How movies/shows/cartoons etc make male characters go through sexual assault without even mentioning that what they went through is sexual assault. A recent example that comes to mind: Hughie Campbell in 'The boys' getting sexually assaulted in one episode which is treated as a joke and an episode later raped by a shapeshifter pretending to be his girlfriend and how the latter isn't even considered to be a 'bad event' for him but treated as if he knowingly cheated on his actual girlfriend. So often male characters go through shit that make me go: what the fuck? And it's as if the writers don't even register that what they're writing is something a normal human being would be fucked up about because they happen to be writing for male characters. It's not specifically about the example it's about the choice in media to ignore sexual boundaries for men and often treat them getting crossed as a non event or even as a joke.

The propaganda machine is working fine

I spent 2 months of my senior year hospitalized and 2 weeks of that time comatose. My English teacher came by every other day and read me And Then There Were None, I still have that copy and I've read it five times now.

I straight up do not trust you if you did not enjoy a single book you had to read for English class. I know they assigned some real stuffy stinkers and the curriculum varies across districts but not one? Not The Outsiders? Not The Picture of Dorian Gray? Not Fahrenheit 451? Not even Frankenstein? Damn. That’s crazy.
