After the war Minerva becomes Hogwarts’ Headmistress and so she had to finally clear out her beloved office and dorm in the Gryffindor Tower for the next Head of Gryffindor. Its been years since she started there and she knows she’ll have to go through a lot of old essays, books, and letters.

It was halfway through her cleaning did she discover a bunch of essay she did when she sat all her 7th year Gryffindor down to ask them what their plans are. The essay was simple, answer the question “where do you see yourself in 10 years?”. It’s a yearly thing she does with her graduating students just so she can keep track of where they’ll be and where she can finds them.

Minerva wasn’t sure which batch this essay belongs to so she was a bit excited to see who’s essay it all belongs to and see if they end up doing what they said they will. With a swish of her wand the papers straightened themselves and she was able to see the first essay on top.

Her heart immediately broke.

I have no plans 10 years from now but inside those 10 years I want to explore the world. I want to see everything until I get sick of it, I want to be everywhere. the thing i think a lot of people don’t realize about rick and morty is that the question isn’t “does rick care about morty?” - it’s very obvious he does - it’s “does rick care enough about morty to change?”

This line could've been cheesy, and some people said it was, but Ian Cardoni nailed it. He maintained Rick's characteristic bluntness with a hint of sadness and regret at the end. The face Rick makes after saying that also sells it.

I absolutely love Ricks character development. It's the type that keeps you on the edge of the seat, wondering if he'll do the right thing or not. When he does, it's super satisfying, but when he slips into his old habits, you want to yell out in frustration. Throughout the seasons, you notice subtle differences. His yearning to better, but he thinks he doesn't deserve it. It's easier to be the piece of shit everyone knows you as.

I think with the newest episode, we can see he is really trying. Rick went to therapy on his own because he was finally able to admit he needed help. I think that was a huge step. Rick has struggled with admitting the fact that he needs help, so much so that he would rather suffer than show that weakness.

I also want to point out how much I love Dr. Wong. She is one of the few people Rick actually respects. When he first met her, he tested the waters on what she'd allow him to get away with. He shat on her profession and tried to dig at anything that would potentially hurt her to make himself seem bigger. His efforts were useless. She didn't lose her stoicism and calmly explained the situation. She is one of the few people Rick can't provoke, nor make them feel inferior to him.

Dr. wong isn't afraid of Rick. She doesn't bat her eye with whatever insane cosmic bullshit Rick brings to her. He was a pickle for Christ's sake, and this woman wasn't fazed what so ever. I feel like Rick likes the fact that she isn't scared of him.

She'll set clear boundaries with Rick and correct him whenever he crosses them. The craziest thing is that he responds well to it. He, in facts listens to what she has to say. Even though he is the 'smartest being in the universe', I think he feels safer to be vulnerable in front of someone who doesn't depend on him, nor have any sort of expectation. She is well aware that Rick is a nillistic asshole, but she also knows there's good underneath it all. Rick has all sorts of trauma that he refused to process, hence the drinking and substance abuse. Dr. Wong could be really good for Rick. She's someone Rick could confide in with no judgment or ridicule.

Listen, I hate that stupid ‘The Proposal’ movie. But I do like the concept of a Dabihawks Proposal Inspired AU… Where half American, half Japanese Keigo is the manager (or something) of Touya’s department.

Now Touya and his co-workers/friends despise Keigo. Not because he is a tough or mean leader or anything. But Keigo is so… fake. And is a goody-two shoes. And is such a huge ass-kisser when it comes to dealing with the head of the company. Touya especially hates Keigo and wants nothing more than the man to be demoted. Or fired.

But then, Keigo gets a call that his father passed away and that he needs to verify the body. An already stressful situation made worse when Keigo learns his father passed away in America. The country Keigo was born in. Which fucking sucks for Keigo because he’s on a work visa in Japan. And no, Keigo’s mother will not go verify the body instead because she is “Hoping it’s not him.”

So Keigo goes, verifies the body, and returns to start packing up his life. He had a good run in Japan but unfortunately for him, all good things must end.

Touya’s friends and Touya celebrate this… until they find out who Keigo’s replacement is going to be. None other than Kai Chisaki, a former acquaintance of theirs that used to bully members of their group, ‘The League’. Worse, everyone knows that Kai isn’t afraid to get physical if he doesn’t get his way.

So, in a desperate attempt to prevent Kai from taking over the office, Touya offers Keigo a deal: Both have things they still need to accomplish in the company. Touya needs Keigo so his friends can stay safe while Keigo needs to stay in Japan. So, Touya offers a temporary marriage with Keigo. Nothing long term, just until they accomplish their goals.

It’s a crazy, insane plan but Keigo’s got no better options. So he agrees. However, they’re not in the clear because Kai, suspicious of this very convenient union, begins hiring private investigators to poke around and see if the engaged couple are truly engaged or not.

And what is Keigo and Touya’s plan to get Kai off their backs? Why, going to Keigo’s father memorial in Hokkaido. The island where Keigo’s mom was born, where she met his dad, and where all of Keigo’s awful family members will be in “mourning”.

What follows then are lots of shenanigans, a bunch of greedy family members asking Keigo for money, a suddenly protective Touya, and a mom who won’t even look her son in the eyes. And what’s revealed to Touya are the reasons why Keigo is such a fake-ass, goody-two shoes, butt-kisser.

Oh… and somehow, throughout all this, Keigo and Touya begin to fall for each other. Actually.

More Lily

I want Lily Evans to be nuanced and dynamic in fanon writing because the fanon literally only ever depicts Lily as a beacon of heavenly light but she’s not, she’s a deeply flawed person capable of expressing negative traits and cruelty towards others and yeah, of being an asshole. I want her to be shown as an asshole sometimes because it never happens. And I want to see her having doubts in her relationship with James because it’s not the One True Pairing of the century; I want to see her have doubts and concerns about motherhood, about her friends, James’s friends, her sister, the people she left behind, I want to watch her justify the shitty things she’s done to herself and her family and friends, I want to see Lily’s morals warp and change, I want to watch her be painfully human and flawed, I want to see how her schooling changed the wild, colorful child she was, I want Lily to ruminate on whether she did the right thing and not know the answer but assure herself otherwise. 

I want the parts of her the canon either hinted at or never explored. We only hear about Lily from (99%) people who loved her, or were infatuated with her, or saw her as an angelic figure, or had only heard of her, with the possible exception of her sister. I want mundane Lily facts that have to do with HER, not her and James, because she is not half of a set that needs him to be complete or interesting. I want child Snape to keep coming back to her because she was a fascinating kid, or because she was a normal kid but literally all he had, or because she was a fascinating kid who grew into a shallow teen but she was literally all he had. I want to watch the subtle (honestly kinda insidious) house system change her behavior. I want to know about her relationship with her parents and Petunia, the places the relationships were strained, the silent dinners, where lines were crossed– It can’t all be one-sided antagonism on Petunia’s part. 

I don’t want anti-Lily or Lily bashing. 

But 

I want an actual examination and dissection of her character that has the room for her to be vivacious and loving and warm and compassionate, AND the kind of person who makes the sexual assault of her closest friend about her own hurt feelings. 

Really kind of boils down to that. That she’s been shown to have the capacity to be both of these people at once, but fanon only cares about one half or the other. Nah. She’s both.
