“When It Rains It Pours” This photo is inspired by the Morton Salt Girl, an ad campaign mascot created by the Morton Salt Company. According to historydaily.org, it’s one of the longest ad campaigns, and was created at the time to promote their unique cylindrically shaped packaging and spout as well as their new salt with a non-caking agent, which wouldn’t clump even in damp conditions.
