Omg, I love this! John is so mean. And Tim is worse.
[ID: A four-page, mostly black and white comic featuring Jonathan Sims and Tim Stoker. Jon is a thin Arab man with curly black hair with lighter streaks and half-moon glasses on a beaded chain. Tim is a slim Latino man with a bright purple undercut, ear gauges, and a small goatee. The only colors in the comic are the instances of bright purple, and there is no dialogue.
The first page shows Tim dropping a purple pen on the ground. He's wearing a purple shirt and black slacks with black shoes. Jon, who has a small mustache and short straightened hair and is wearing a button-down shirt and sweater, sees the pen drop and picks it up, calling out to him. Tim turns to him and they exchange the pen, hands almost silhouetted against a light background. The lines on Jon's hand are gray while Tim's are purple. They smile at each other, Jon scratching his neck shyly, and shake hands, as though introducing themselves.
The second page is a montage. First there's a sticky note in a file saying "spooky!" with a little smiley face written in bright purple. Then there's Tim handing a file to Jon, who now has a full mustache and long hair pulled into a bun, while Tim rests his elbow on Jon's head, pointing at the file with his purple pen. Jon looks annoyed. Then there's the pen on the floor, surrounded by crushed worms, with one crawling over it. Then Jon's scarred and bandaged hand reaching out to the gift tag attached to a black walking cane, it reads "now we match" with a smiley drawn next to Tim's signature, written in purple. The cane has a purple ribbon tied around it. Then Tim, wearing a thick jacket and t-shirt, fidgeting with his purple pen by spinning it in a worm scar. Then a shot of Tim's desk, with a cup holding multiple pens, including the purple one, a stack of sticky notes with one purple section, and a ball of paper.
The third page shows a scarred Jon with a full beard and long hair tucked into his sweater and wearing sneakers and shorts walking through the archives, approaching a desk and running his finger through the dust on it. He looks solemnly at the pen cup and the purple pen in it, and reaches for it, his hand and the pen cup silhouetted against a light background. He pulls back, unsure, and it cuts between him and the pen cup as he tips his head back, shaking, and clasps his hands together.
The fourth page shows him breaking down into tears, covering his face with his hand and crumpling to the floor. Tim's desk is in a spotlight, with various items highlighted in purple and a purple gradient over the desk. Jon kneels next to it, shaking and crying, alone. end ID]

I finally finished it! After a good three months, here is my animation of a scene from MAG 159- The Last! This was a lot of fun to do and try out some of Clip Paint’s fancier animation options.

So this started as a joke when I heard this song in a car again after like 7 years and then I got a new editing software and wanted to try it aaaand...this kinda happened...uh...yeah I speedran some parts tho in order to get it out on October 18th but am still lowkey proud of it? :D Considering it's my first animatic ever
