It Could've Stemmed From My Fascination With Parasitic Worms, But I Know That Wasn't The Reason Why I

It could've stemmed from my fascination with parasitic worms, but I know that wasn't the reason why I started drawing them.

Realistically, Doppel could've been the reason, especially when I was trying to figure out how to draw her "worm" innards; but I don't think that's it either?

I wish I could remember when exactly my obsession with worms started, but it's honestly hard to recall.

hey hey, in re: white inks, maybe Deleter White 2? it's decently opaque and waterproof once dried (which is a nice bonus)

Thanks so much for the recommendation!

A lot of folks have suggested that particular ink, so I'll have to check it out!

Your art reminds me of yaelokre and the song Foxcry by Rabbitology!

Oh! That's a fun comparison!

Thank you, anon! ✨

have you ever gotten into irish mythology? i think irish myth characters would look absolutely amazing in your style

I have not! But, after taking a quick glance at some Irish mythology, it's definitely something I would like to look into more.

Thanks for the suggestion! ✨

how does your linework have that rough, inky quality to the edges even though it's digital? How do you do it?

The distressed edges of my line art are from the brush I use! It's the Bold Engraver Single from True Grit Texture Supply's Rusty Nib pack (specifically the Procreate version).

I did make some minor adjustments to the grain settings to amp up its texture, but this brush is what gives my lines a roughened look!
