Dallas winston x studying!reader

Late night study sessions usually end with you slumped over the table, half asleep in amongst your notes, entirely worn down by the stress of exam season. Dallas can’t stand seeing you so fatigued, and everytime he sees you in such a state he just sighs. “Jesus, doll… They’re really runnin’ you into the ground, huh?” 

He’ll act like he doesn’t care about school, at least not for his own benefit, but he can see how much you’ll do to ensure you do your best and get the grades expected of you. Because of this, he’ll sit and endure all of your stressed rambling, letting you teach him topics if that’s what helps you remember.

If you do fall asleep, he’ll tug your stuff aside and will drag you somewhere a little more comfortable. He isn’t soft on you, but he also doesn’t want you to stress yourself out too much. “You’ll pass, alright? Just take a goddamn break for once.” 

Dallas will bring you stolen snacks halfway through your sessions just to make sure you’re eating. He also uses it as an excuse to see you, not all that pleased that your attention is taken away by some stupid subject. 

He absolutely hates seeing you cry over your grades and cant stand that school is the thing that’s got you so torn up. He’s rough around the edges and tough as shit, but he’ll let his walls drop just enough to give you the reassurance you need. 

If you mutter something that even slightly self-deprecating, he’s scoffing and feeding you the tough love you need. “That’s bullshit. You’re the smartest thing I know. Don’t even think about talkin’ like that, man.” 

When you do finally take your exams, he’s mindful of giving you space, not wanting to get caught up in the wave of emotions that comes with the stress and exhaustion. He’ll try and say the right things, although sometimes he grates on your nerves enough to make you snap.

Afterwards, he’ll mumble a soft little, “told you you could do it”, acting smug as hell to try and cover up his pride over you. 

tsukishima will deny it, but he has the nastiest senpai kink.

you stay late to help him work through some serving drills. he’s being snarkier than usual, all glowering and moody in a way that both pisses you off and excites you, because all you wanna do is rile him up more just to see what he does when he snaps. when he’s finished, he orders you to put the balls away like you aren’t already doing him a favor in staying behind.

“straight away, senpai,” you drawl, offering a little mock salute that makes the muscle in his jaw tick. “anything for you.”

you wheel away the ball cart with a swish in your hips, and yep, before you have time to think, he’s crowding you into the storage closet, pawing at your hips with a desperation that makes your stomach clench. he grabs your thighs and pins you against the wall with his hips, the obvious length of his erection jutting into your belly.

he shoves two taped and calloused fingers into your mouth and tells you to be quiet, eyes gleaming in the dark.

“do what your senpai says, huh? think you can manage that?”

Soda and Pony are the kind of kids who pretend to fall asleep in the car to make their parents carry them inside.
