Sinfest is a web comic veteran with new newspaper-style comics almost every day since 2000. It's up to 4787 strips, or almost four 8-Bit Theaters. Sinfest covers topics that come up a lot on Facebook, so I'm sure you'll like it.
Maybe I’ll use one of the more religiously- or socially-challenging ones later. You know, standard Facebook fare.
Oh cool, you're reading the full blog post now. Here's a GIF I wanted to post, but I can't find who this is or where it came from.
UPDATE: After four and a half years, I've found the source! This comes from the 78th All Japan Costume Grand Prix from 2007, where this earned 3rd place.

Oh cool, Bill Wurtz just popped up in my YouTube feed! Time for me to step away from my subreddit about floaty things for a minute and post this to my old social media places! I’ve been a huge gamer my whole life. Though recent changes have taken priority over games, I still play Wordle, lichess, and retro games. I miss my stream and I want to reboot the stream when I can.

This reminds me of the Imperial Boy background art I posted here several months ago. So much detail! I'd make this my wallpaper but I can't crop it to 16:9 without losing lots of details.

Rockman 4 Minus Infinity isn’t just the best romhack ever made. It’s superior to the NES Mega Man games in every way. Puresabe just released v1.00 a few days ago, and what it does to Mega Man 4 is ridiculous. This features redesigned stages, bosses, and weapons, tons of new music, autosaves, 8-way scrolling, difficulty options, a time attack, and multiple boss rush modes, and that’s just the start. JDetan and I call this the real Mega Man 4, and the other one just a beta.
It's a romhack, but I actually own a Famicom cartridge of this. It's only version v0.02, same as the video I linked above, but it has that delightful Engrish language setting. "This amplifies cruelty." "Ouch! Stop beating!" "Drills pierces everything." Sadly, this doesn't work on a Retron 5 or any other Famiclone; only a real Famicom can play it.

Kawayoo is a busy artist, and not just in drawing illustrations for art books and Pokémon cards. His electronic music puts me in the mood to write code. I’ve been working on adding a key config menu to Skeleton Hunter, and when it’s finished, I’ll tell you all about it.
It's been too long since this type of post. pixiv is just a fire hose of cool art. I could start browsing tags and artists and lose my entire afternoon there, so I don't check it like I used to.

Locomalito makes hard traditional 2D games that can be beaten in one sitting, and he releases them for free out of his love of arcade culture. Check out Maldita Castilla, his love letter to dark Nintendo Hard platform games like Ghosts ‘n Goblins and Castlevania. Most of the monsters come from Spanish myths we don’t normally see in video games. Find the hidden Moura’s Tear item in each stage and try not to lose your soul. The developer also made Hydorah, a brutally difficult horizontal scrolling shooter with powerups.
For God and Castile!

Two months ago, I told you I was hooked on this game. Since then, I’ve played for 47 hours, reached every door, collected every backpack, and got every survival mode ending. I’ve also brought the heat to the North American version’s leaderboards with dozens of stage times in the top three. Since this game helpfully lets you save replays, I get to show you how I got there. Enjoy!

For Android Pebble users, Canvas for Pebble makes plenty of information available to your watchfaces. It’s hard to display much information on such a small screen and still look nice. For Wallpaper Watchface, the time is still large and in charge, and the other two lines are stuffed with so much small text and icons that the screen takes about 20 seconds to load. Missed calls and unread messages make new notifications appear on top of the large wallpaper image. Replace that Pebble Beach wallpaper with any graphic you want from your phone.
Wallpaper Watchface was built on Canvas for Pebble v2.0.6 beta which requires Pebble firmware 2.0 beta 5. If you have that stuff installed, click the links below on your phone to install the appropriate screen on your Pebble.

It's tricky to photograph e-ink displays indoors, let alone time the shot to the second... Ick, this preview looks ugly. This is why I took a photo of the watch itself.

Hold onto your hats! Versatile string player Rob Scallon just released another Slayer cover. This adds to his playlist of metal on instruments that aren’t metal with the description “If I wasn’t going to play Slayer on my banjo then what did I buy it for?”

Japan will make anything cute. To make metal cute, ex-Megadeth lead guitarist Marty Friedman brought in pop idol group AKB48 to create Death Panda. Friedman loves J-pop’s complicated song structures and how bands like Babymetal apply them to metal.
