pretty much finished the comics and i gotta say

this is their best contribution to canon imo. i'm accepting it into my heart

just the idea that Ricks are circulating baby Morty pics and baby Morty gifts as secret "premium" currency amongst themselves

sad thing is tho? they're probably so valuable b/c they're scarce. And they're probably scarce b/c most Ricks failed to be around/have a good relationship with their families while their Morties were small. And then there come along some lucky bastards with crayon pictures signed "me and granpa" on their subbasement fridges, and gifted macaroni art locked in safes. And the rest of the Ricks immediately get really jealous and really weird about it

(in the hardcore collector circles there are tales of a lucky Rick who was around just enough to leave a strong impression on his Morty but not enough to disillusion him by the time he went to third grade. So when the school asked for a "My Hero" essay, Rick was the subject. Said Rick once bragged about it when drunk. Most collectors will tell you that this Rick is full of shit and made the whole thing up, but they're still hunting him to the edges of the multiverse for a chance to get their hands on that essay or at least his memories of it)

As an apothisexual (sex-repulsed asexual) I'm happy that you made this post. I truly love being in the asexual spectrum and any other ace existing 🩷

Aces who never want to have sex

Aces who had sex in the past but don't desire it anymore

Aces with sexual trauma who feel like their trauma ties into their asexuality

Aces with sexual trauma who don't feel like their trauma caused their asexuality

Aces who don't want to talk to you about sex

Aces who don't want to hear about sex

Yes even aces who do not want to engage with any sexual content and don't want it in their own personal spaces

Yes even aces who express the desire to have more spaces for queer adults where their boundaries are met (on top of the queer spaces that exist, we do not want to sanitize your existing spaces ffs)

If you cannot be normal about these people existing, if you believe they're a threat to our community and to how we're viewed by people who aren't aspec and the rest of the LGBTQ+ community, you are not an asexual ally. Yes, even if you're aspec yourself. Especially if you're aspec yourself.

Because it's been pride month for 4 days and I'm already seeing people trying to throw us under the bus or pretend we don't exist because that makes the ace community more palatable to exclusionists and people who swallowed too much "aces are puritans" propaganda.
