being in your early twenties is like [grocery shopping alone] [having instant noodles for dinner] [remembering random details about that one friend you haven't spoken to in five years] [feeling overwhelming guilt for every purchase that isn't strictly "necessary"] [having midday naps] [finding out through facebook that the girl who was mean to you in high school has a husband and a baby] [falling a little in love with every stranger on public transport] [pretending you're not afraid of being alone] [wondering when you'll feel like a fully realized person] [listening to bands you liked in middle school] [blinking and it's suddenly december] [failing to imagine yourself ten years from now] [feeling like you're running out of time]
Sometimes you're just an introverted loser who sits alone in your room with a cup of tea and a book, has fantasies about morally grey fictional characters, is severely touch starved with a completely fucked up sleep schedule and slowly declining mental health.
Frantic in my fury I had no time for decisions; I only remembered that death in battle is glorious.
- Virgil, The Aeneid

Who is mona-lisa ? A dead lover!
If this is true...
“““You’re not a monster,” I said. But I lied. What I really wanted to say was that a monster is not such a terrible thing to be. From the Latin root monstrum, a divine messenger of catastrophe, then adapted by the Old French to mean an animal of myriad origins: centaur, griffin, satyr. To be a monster is to be a hybrid signal, a lighthouse: both shelter and warning at once.””

— Ocean Vuong, from “On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous”
when patroclus said “i will never leave him. it will be this, always, for as long as he will let me” and when sam gamgee said “don’t go where i can’t follow” and when bucky barnes said “i’m with you till the end of the line” and kaz brekker said “i would have come for you. and if i couldn’t walk i’d crawl to you” and orpheus said “wherever she is that’s where I’ll go” and castiel said “i’ll go with you”
“If someday the moon calls you by your name don’t be surprised, because every night I tell her about you.”

the five love languages are the brushing of fingertips, sarcasm, exploring magical forests, pizza, and late night drives
“Nature is woman’s best friend,’ she often said. ‘If you’re having troubles, you just swim in the water, stretch out in a field, or look up at the stars. That’s how a woman cures her fears’.”

"If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things."
— René Descartes
Don't you feel like exploring the old libraries, the past centuries, the Gothic castles ,the dukes, the maidens, with your lover holding hands and living there forever.
Heaven isn't it?
Once again I'm lost in old days
once again why did we let masquerade balls and handwritten letters and heart lockets and daggers strapped to thighs go out of fashion
i am afraid if i vanish no one will remember my smell. who will know my favorite candle, who will bury themselves in vanilla in a scent of grief. i am afraid in ten, twenty, 50 years time, i will have not been. who was i, who are we to be so easily forgotten
"Medicine, law, business, engineering, these are all noble pursuits, and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for."
-John Keating; Dead Poets Society
Daydreaming about moving to London and opening a coffee shop with a library. The shop would be dark academia costumized and there would be poetry, literature or art nights for everyone to express themselves and discuss about different point of views.
In life, there are no winners or losers. It's about the believers and non believers.
