this morning NASA abandoned their mars rover Opportunity (aka Oppy) because it (she) got hit by a storm on Mars and it knocked her camera and wheels out and her last words to the team were “my battery is low and it is getting cold”. If you like Sonic/Shadow, I highly recommend reading “When Did It Change?” By Fragmented_Rose on AO3, it’s not completed but it’s updated recently so I believe the author is still planning on finishing it. It’s an incredible slow burn with 200,000+ words so far and it’s had me in a chokehold for the past week and may have made me want to start re reading it right away I’m so serious about this lol
