It's funny the idea that at least some guards would also ship inhun, like, they are watching their boss being gay and staring at Gi-hun so many times that they would be confused lmao
I’d watch an entire episode of In-ho taking care of his fish (or just staring at them)
Watched squid game cuz of your blog and tysm.,,,… I need your in-ho/gi-hun hcs
Contains some angst, grief. trauma, slight NSFW
The only way In-ho can sleep is if Gi-hun plays with his hair. When he was a kid, his mom used to do this for him, but then he grew up and he kind of had to pat his own head to sleep because… for obvious reasons, he could not ask anyone to do this for me. He met his wife and she did this for him, but then she passed, In-ho became the Front Man, and again — for obvious reasons — his secret was that he touched his own hair / patted his own head to help him sleep. It took a long time until he told Gi-hun about this secret of his. Gi-hun agreed to help. And now In-ho can’t sleep until Gi-hun plays with his hair.
In-ho is extremely possessive when it comes to Gi-hun, but what people fail to see is that, underneath the possessiveness is profound protectiveness. In-ho hates it when someone else touches Gi-hun, hates it when anybody ever gets close to Gi-hun, but besides the jealousy is always the urge to protect. In-ho knows Gi-hun is more than capable of defending and taking care of himself, he knows that Gi-hun is a fighter, but still he can’t help it. He’s lost his wife and his child before, he can’t afford losing Gi-hun too.
Gi-hun understands this.
In-ho loves seeing Gi-hun eat. He doesn’t explicitly say it out loud, but he mentally goes feral whenever Gi-hun eats
Here’s why
In-ho also loves to cook. He’s a great cook. He used to cook for his wife when she was alive. He stopped after she died. But Gi-hun brings out that joy in him, and before he knows it he’s always looking forward to cooking for Gi-hun.
Gi-hun also loves eating anything In-ho made. It only took about a year for him to start trusting that In-ho will not poison him.
Gi-hun's daughter absolutely loves In-ho. And In-ho absolutely adores her. Yes, it took a long time for Gi-hun to trust In-ho enough to introduce him to his daughter, but the first second In-ho met her, he knows he'll do anything to protect her as if she were his own flesh and blood.
In-ho doesn't get the chance to be his biological child's father. He now gets a second chance to be Ga-yeong's dad, and he will do his best for her.
In-ho is good with Ga-yeong. He always helps her with homework, buys her lovely gifts and teaches her new things. Ga-yeong loves spending time with In-ho.
Gi-hun thought In-ho would be a 'strict parent' at first. Turns out In-ho is so extremely sweet, soft, gentle and kind to Ga-yeong that it surprised Gi-hun that In-ho is even capable of all these things. Not that Gi-hun didn't think In-ho could be soft and sweet, it's just that he'd never seen this side of In-ho before (yes, In-ho is now soft and sweet to him too, but it's still not to this degree). It warms his heart.
If Gi-hun didn't trust In-ho with Ga-yeong before, now there's nobody in the world he trusts to look after Ga-yeong more than In-ho.
Although both In-ho and Gi-hun still have PTSD from the game, sometimes they need to be alone, knowing they can’t exactly comfort each other when they each are also one of the reasons behind the other’s pain, how they used to hurt each other before they allowed themselves to truly accept the feelings they have for each other. But in the end they always come back to each other.
As in "they never sleep without the other by their side", no matter what.
Gi-hun never explicitly says “I forgive you” to In-ho. And In-ho never expects forgiveness from Gi-hun. He knows how severely he’s wronged and hurt Gi-hun.
Although In-ho still constantly tells Gi-hun that he’s sorry, whenever the guilt in his chest gets too overwhelming.
And every time In-ho tells Gi-hun he’s sorry and that he regrets his actions, Gi-hun always tells him “I know”.
It’s not an outright “I forgive you”. Gi-hun loves In-ho, but love and forgiveness are different things. He’s not sure if he can ever truly ‘forgive’ In-ho.
However, Gi-hun knows In-ho is trying to be a better person. And Gi-hun is proud of him for that.
And sometimes when In-ho misses his wife and child, Gi-hun will be there to simply wrap his arms around him and holds him close. And that's enough for In-ho.
NSFW — Gi-hun tops, In-ho bottoms; In-ho was always the one in power when he was the Front Man, and while he does love and crave power and control, something about Gi-hun just makes him want to surrender. And he can't lie to himself by saying that he doesn't want this, because as shocking as it was, being dominated and taken care of by Gi-hun feel nice.
